I had a large punch biopsy taken from near the end of my nose last fall. Consultant recommended using scar oil to lessen the visible impact, but it is still very obvious. I had looked into these tapes before but reviews were not very good. The reviews here seem to be for a liquid as well?Saw a great review in a national newspaper about this one & decided to give it a try.After only 72 hours there seems to be a huge improvement & the crater seems to have filled up & smoothed out already.I have been wearing a smallish square 24/7, taking it off am & pm to wash my face, re-applying immediately. I have been careful not to get any face cream or make-up on it, & it has retained it’s adhesive qualities.. I have not tried washing the actual piece of silicone yet, but will try that tomorrow.Zero problems with it staying on my nose during the night, despite a lot of tossing & turning. Also blends in extremely well with my tanned skin colour & is not noticeable at all, though probably will be once tan has faded.I am amazed at the swift improvement after such a short period of continuous wear. Will give it a few weeks then leave it off overnight to measure actual improvement.Could quite happily wear this permanently as it looks much better than my awful scar.Update: washed & reapplied without problem.Others have mentioned doesn’t stay on under clothes - probably due to clothes rubbing, would suggest putting Micropore or similar on top to keep in place.

I have previously used two different brands of scar tape and found the adhesion to be poor. The tape would peel off after a few days or sooner.This Advanced Silicon Scar Tape sticks really well and is much better than the more expensive tapes i've tried.I wear my tape for 24 hours, so having something that sticks in place for a week or two weeks is excellent. It saves a lot of time having to restick new tape constantly, which i had to do with the other brands.The other brands i tried with poor adhesion were Kelinul and AirroYE.

Apply as required,a good design & prep, it stays put & is comfortable enough to forget about when applied. Effectiveness only time will tell.

I bought this after reading other reviews as I have a small but noticeable scar on my elbow (from a horsefly bite!)I find it easy to cut and wear - the adhesion is very good, even at night.I have started to notice an improvement after just a week, so hope that it will become even less visible with further use.

Easy to cut to the size you need. Stayed in place for one week even with showering and swimming. Unsure of it's reusable but it's not really necessary as the role is large.Good value for money.

I have used that kind of tape before but never could re-use it, even though that's what the manufacturer suggested.It's different with this tape - it's nice and thick, easy to take off, wash and reply when needed. Happy with it!
A product that works!
I’m a regular customer of Eva Naturals skin care products because they have always proven to be effective and affordable too. In anticipation of a scar that would follow shoulder surgery I purchased this tape and began to use it as soon as my surgeon okayed it. After only four months the tape is working to heal the scar tissue and I can see the difference! It’s easy to use and adheres well. It even helps minimize old scars. I couldn’t quite believe it possible but I’ve been using a tiny strip on a shin scar that’s now fading fast. It’s definitely a product worth trying.
Exceptional value for quality silicone tape
I had a major abdominal surgery last year and have four incision scars across my torso plus three puncture scars on the upper right side of my chest.I also have EDS which means my skin is delicate and prone to keloid scarring.I tried this silicone tape on the surgical scars as well as some older scars from 7 years ago.Application is simple; clean and dry the area and cut tape to size then apply. From my experience you get the best results if you use silicone tape daily over the long term (a few months+) and continue until you reach a plateau or the scar is no longer noticeable (depends on the scar if it will fully fade or just shrink/lighten up.)If you are going to sleep with it on then I suggest you tape it with athletic or medical tape to keep it in place. I didn’t have issues with the ones on my abdomen coming off but the one on my cheek would fall off from moving around while I slept.My skin is quite sensitive and to date I have had no issues or reactions with this tape.I plan on using this for several months to lighten the surgical scars and the 7 yr old scar on my face.The tape itself is a high grade quality and to get three boxes for the price point is fantastic and should last me the duration.The silicone tape blends in well with my skin tone and is not highly noticeable so I wear it around the house during the day.Overall this is a great product for an excellent value and I would highly recommend.
Excellent Product
I had a scar that I just knew needed medical attention, after using this scar tap and did not remove it until after 14 days. The scar was completely gone.
Requires consistent application for several weeks
I was hoping that this scar tape would reduce the appearance of an old scar. I used it regularly for two weeks and noticed a small improvement. It could be that this scar is really old. I am testing it now on a recent injury and expect the results will be better. The tape is easy to apply. The instructions recommend cutting it to match the shape of the scar. I am sensitive to adhesive and this did not irritate my skin.
Good Quality Tape
The tape is good, however it does not stick to your skin great and can become lose or fall off as the day goes on. Would get it again, though.
