    I purchased the largest size which is great for making pizza dough, without the mess. Just make sure you have enough surface area on your worktops.

    since getting a pizza oven and starting to make my own dough one of my pet peeves is how much mess is made on the countertop this product is almost exactly what I needed to make it less of a headache.this silicon mat comes in a proper product box making it giftable over something that just turns up in a plastic bag like a lot of these kind of items usually do.the mat comes folded and mine had a minor crease but laid flat on the counter it was imperceptible.it has a tacky kind of hold when placed on a smooth surface and had to be unpeeled when unpacking as it held to itself firmly as well. this makes it almost impossible for it to move around the countertop so you wont have to worry about it sliding everywhere whilst trying to roll out dough.it comes with a loop attached on the side which allows you to roll it (surface side in to protect it) and then clip the loop around to stop it unrolling making it easy to store in a drawer (it fits my undercounter drawer when placed sideways but not front to back).on the mat are a number of useful markings to help size and shape your dough which are useful.i'm very happy with this item and thing i would recommend it for any home bakers or bakers in your life.

    This is the smallest of the mats that Parmedu sell. Made of fairly thick silicone this appears to be a good quality mat. It adheres well to the worktop and proved to be very non-stick with very little flouring of the dough.I feel that this size is ideal for small buns, tarts and rolls but I would really like a bigger one for the family sized pies that I bake. The lip around the edge is great for keeping flour on the mat and off the work surface but it also means that I can’t roll the pastry bigger than the mat with ease.I have also, in a hurry, used this as a silicone heat protector mat and it was not harmed in any way and did protect my work surface! It washes well too!ALTHOUGH I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FOR FREE VIA THE Bolo "VINE" PROGRAMME, I DEEPLY VALUE MY INTEGRITY SO ALWAYS, ALWAYS GIVE MY HONEST, UNBIASED OPINIONS.FOR ME A 4* PRODUCT IS GOOD - IT DOES EVERYTHING IT SAYS IT SHOULD.A 5* PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT - IT DOES EVERYTHING IT SHOULD AND EITHER DOES IT PARTICULARLY WELL OR DOES MORELOWER STAR RATINGS ARE GIVEN WHERE THERE IS A FLAW, A DESCRIPTION IS MISLEADING or THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE WHICH WILL BE CLEARLY STATED.

    The Parmedu silicone pastry mat came folded in the package. It also came provided with a silicone scraper/dough cutter, which was nice to have. It took a fair while to unstick the mat, as it had been folded onto itself. This was just an inconvenience, not a major problem. Although, if you don’t take care unsticking it, I suspect the mat could be damaged doing it.As has been mentioned in other reviews, the mat is very large and as a gauge, I have taken a picture with a 1KG pack of caster sugar on it to give you an idea of the size. The mat just about fitted on my worktop with no room to spare (top and bottom). The mat is not very thick, but seems thick enough to be practical and strong, plus the lip around the mat is a good idea and helps contain the mess that ensues. I have had mats that aren’t silicone and they do tend to get frayed at the edges, so I have high hopes for this silicone one and hope that it lasts the test of time. The mat base is very sticky and once put onto the work surface just cannot move without lifting it and moving, so there’s no worries there. Also being cold/heat resistant to a high degree (-40c to 260c), is great. When you want to store the mat away, you can roll it up and it has a handy silicon strap for convenience.I found this pastry mat of good quality and certainly is a generous size, the addition of the cutter is very handy and I think that I will be using this one more than my current one. The price point is very good, not cheap, but fair at £17.99 (at the time of writing this review). I have no problem recommending this product.

    I already own a large pastry mat but its got lots of knife marks on it from years of use so this came at the right time.With all the mince pies being made this month i have had the chance to test it out.◉ I like that the mat stays where you put it and doesn't end up at the back of the worktop.◉ The lip around the edge is a great addition my old mat didn't have.◉ I don't use them myself but the cake/pie size chart and the measurements are a handy guide.◉ Dough cutter and strap are good additions also.◉ I made sweet shortcrust pastry which didn't stick at all even with minimal flour dusting.Great all round mat but i might have to by the next size up for larger bakes.

    This pastry mat is made with thickened silicone, seems very solid and durable.Quite happy with the width, just the right size for our worktop. The markings / measurements etc. are clearly visible on the mat which is really handy.Another good thing about it is it’s easy cleaning & storage, doesn’t take up much space, can be rolled up and stored away.Have used it a couple of times, no issues at all.

    This mat is amazing! I use it every time I bake and it makes clean up a breeze. It is strong, has useful measurements, and helps to keep the counters clean while providing a great surface to roll out just about anything- without a lot of sticking.

    I love this mat! Nice big size, clings to counter so it doesn’t sip at all, has a rim so nothing goes over the edge, nice and thick, great quality. I would highly recommend. As a matter of fact I already did; my sister saw it and she is getting one too.

    Unglaublich stabile, etwas dickere Silikonmatte, dazu passend ein Teigschaber. Super Qualität, keine Matte die sich beim Teig knetten faltet oder verschiebt. Schnelle Lieferung, schöne Verpackung, sehr empfehlenswert.

    Ho cercato tavole, piani in acciaio, taglieri di grandi dimensioni, ma alla fine ho sempre rinunciato perché non mi davano lo spazio per lavorare. Soprattutto l'acciaio mi piaceva per la semplicità nella pulizia, però richiedeva uno spazio adatto per conservarlo quando non in uso.Poi per caso ho visto questa idea e mi é parsa la soluzione adatta alle mie esigenze. Il prezzo di 27,50 euro non è regalato ma viste le dimensioni e la praticità ho scelto di lanciarmi in questo acquisto. La prima impressione è decisamente più che positiva. In futuro saprò dirvi qualcosa in più.
