5.0 out of 5 stars Eight mice caught so far in a week!
We live surrounded by fields and have issues with field mice coming into our house every winter. The house is over 100 years old, so lots of gaps etc where they can get in. Usually not many, and the old traps sorted them. However this winter being so bad it’s been a real nuisance. Bought these traps a couple of weeks ago and caught 4 the first night! Since caught four more, and a few nights with nothing so hopefully has cleared them, but will keep traps down. Easy to use and all have been a clean kill. Kinder than poison.
1.0 out of 5 stars Ineffective
Set 6 mouse traps, caught 6 mice and 4 still alive in the traps as I was checking the often. Other 2 have traveled some way from where I set the traps. Being a country person I often shoot pests but with an instant and humane kill, this is awfull and a slow death.
4.0 out of 5 stars It works but hard
The first thing is the little buggars will just take a peanut out without setting the trap off, so I used peanut butter and it worked! I caught x 2! I know it’s wrong to kill them, but they are coming in to my kitchen!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value and they work
We live in the country and each September our garage and loft is invaded by mice. We don't use poison and catch and release is a waste of time for us given the numbers involved. I'm a retired electrician and have seen the damage caused by mice nibbling at both outer sheathes and core insulation of not only electric wiring but telephone and security systems wiring. Worst case scenario with this is your property and maybe your family destroyed by a fire caused by mice. These traps are excellent when baited with peanut butter or chocolate spread. Being plastic rather than traditional wood they are also easier to clean.
