East Side Rouge is a little darker than I usually choose, however it does accentuate my lips and make my teeth look brighter, whiter. I achieved the perfect result, for me, by applying some light lip gloss over the top. I found the lipstick initially a little dry - well it is 'baked'... After the first few passes it softened, warmed perhaps, and became very much the moisturising stick promised.A 3D embossed inch + of product, half inch a shaped top, the tip is sculpted, curved to a point. Every woman wears their lipstick down to a different shape eventually though, according to their way of application. I found using a lip brush helped to really shape my lips, you do need to more careful with a darker tone. I went ahead and bought the 'Soho Nude' colour and I absolutely adore that one, it's an everyday light peachy colour that suits me very well.I really like the black bullet style push up case, it is discreet, seems to shut magnetically, always crisply, safely. The Laura Geller logo is smart, tasteful and elegant, as I, too, would wish to be!

Superior Quality
I really love this lipstick. It feels different on my lips -- smooth and creamy, wears super well. I guess it's a satin finish -- not matte and not liquid-y like a lip gloss. It has a more subtle "wet" look. Love the color. I would purchase Laura Geller lipstick again.
