  • Pregnanediol Glucuronide (PdG): It is a urine metabolite of progesterone that is released from the ovaries after ovulation. PdG is typically used to confirm ovulation and stimulate the uterus in preparation for pregnancy.

    If you’re ttc & want to confirm ovulation then these are perfect. I used 7&8 days past my first positive opk and it confirmed ovulation. I also tried my following cycle prior to ovulation just to check and it came up with two lines which confirmed ovulation had not yet taken place/low progesterone.

    Im 6DPO today, and used one of these strips this morning. It’s come back with one dark control line, meaning positive for ovulation!Very reassuring whilst in the two week wait!

    I bought this progesterone test to see if I had ovulated. Previously I have had to have a blood test at the doctors to confirm this. However a test line appears regardless, therefore it is up to the user to decide how dark etc it is to the control which can lead to making an error when reading for result.I am looking for something which is clearer to read the result.

    PCOS sufferer and its difficult to find out if I have ovulated or not. Used these tests for a few days and they had a vvv faint pink line (barely visible) but today it's only one line and completely positive. Very happy with this product and will buy again.

    Absolutely terrible, wouldn’t advise anyone to buy! Instructions online on this actual advert are NOT the instructions in the pack, the online instructions state that if you get a solid pink line & a grey line it indicates a positive result, however the leaflet in the packaging states 2 lines is quite clearly negative. So which do you go off? This is very misunderstanding & misleading information for someone who suffers with PCOS!

    This is a lateral flow test for the detection of progesterone in urine. The test pack contains 5 tests: 1 test to check basal levels of progesterone at the beginning of the cycle and 4 tests to check progesterone levels later in the cycle (ideally, 3-4 positive progesterone tests are needed to confirm ovulation). This means that there is only enough strips for 1 cycle in the pack.The tests come in a flat cardboard envelope with instructions on how to do the test. Confusingly, the test is positive when only one line comes up and negative when two lines come up. However, this seems to be similar for all progesterone tests.I found the tests easy to use. The strips are thick and wide and appear of good quality.
