I have used the Tefal Easy Fry Precision for a while now, and, all in all, it's top of the heap. The food is cooked really evenly and fast; you can't beat that for changing your life. What I really like about Tefal is the fact that it's very versatile. You can really cook anything, from full-on crispy fries to juicy chicken wings, and it does you proud every time.It has a really user-friendly digital interface, very easy to set the temperature and time along with some very useful preset options. Cleanup is also really easy with the non-stick basket, which makes it easy to wash up after cooking.Be that as it may, I have taken one star off for how loud this thing comes off to be. When running, it roars similar to a small jet engine. That's by no means a deal breaker for me, but it could be a concern for you if you're sensitive to noise or otherwise live in a really quiet home.The Tefal Easy Fry Precision is a good air fryer at its job. It is only a bit too noisy for my taste. If the sound does not matter, it is a pretty effective model for whatever kitchen. I recommend it to any person who wants to cook in a healthier but still tasty way in a short period of time!

UPDATE 12-8-23: I'm starting to understand the glyphs & the programmes! Using the programmes is defo the way to go as it will go to default 'most common' setting in temperature & time per that food. For example, chips: 1) Read 'Air Fry' instructions on back of your chips packaging. If lacking, use the 'heiroplyphics' leaflet to see per quantity & thickness of chips. No need to pre-heat with 'Air Fry' mode in this machine (but leaflet says you do need to when using only the 'Grill' mode of cooking). Just pop your chips into the cold cooking drawer/basket. 2) Look at the alternate flashing between temperature & time & adjust each using the separate digital controls on either side. 3) If you have a lot of chips in there, pull out the drawer halfway through to mix them up with heat-resistant tongs (or just to check they are cooked near the end). This is where, if in a programme, once you put the drawer back in, it will continue the programme without deleting everything. Very helpful.That's it! Just be careful not to tip basket completely over when emptying or shaking the food so as not not tip out the hot grill component (which is semi-securely wedged in there with silicone tabs, but not so secure that it's difficult to remove it to wash once cool). Really pleased overall &, again, can't wait to try roasting a whole small chicken!*******************************I had a good laugh reading the review someone left a few days ago. Defo can relate to the annoying default 30 minute thing (especially since the whole point of an air fryer is to cook most things in just 5-10 minutes) & no half-way timer. Haven't found a way yet to pause the cooking halfway so I can shake or flip my food without the whole program shutting off. So, I feel I am reprogramming a few times in one go (I've had to find a more ergonomic way to continuously press that timer with my finger) as I sometimes check the food several times while learning the correct cooking times.Totally agree about the instructions being 'hieroglyphics'. I mean, this is way beyond IKEA pictograms indecipherable... And, definitely a very noisy appliance. Luckily most things cook quite quickly.All that being said, this is my first air fryer, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I did see Argos have one from the Instant brand I love (as in 'Instant Pot') for a mere £40. Maybe that one would have better instructions & just simpler to operate? Not sure how valuable the 'programmes' are anyway, as it seems they are just temperatures, not some type of sensor to know when your food is done.On a positive note, it is relatively affordable, & I like how big the drawer is (want to try a small chicken) & not too heavy to hand wash (but no removable 'inner drawer' as the previous reviewer mentioned). The description does say you can pop both the drawer & the removable grill into a dishwasher, but haven't tried. I did have to off gas the chemical smells of the plastic & components for two cycles of about 30 minutes each without any food in it when I first got it, but now it smells fine when I turn it on.Definitely impressed with the power (hence the noise??) & speed in cooking things crispy outside yet moist inside. Just google a couple recipes of exactly what you want to cook to find the times (don't trust the Tefal leaflet cook times), & err on the side of caution when you start so you don't overcook. You can always add a minute or two if needed (by pressing that darn button many, many times, lol). So far I've only tried chips, chicken & red pepper skewers, & frozen pain au chocolat, & they were all perfectly cooked (after some adjustments). Now I just need to come up with ideas for 'healthier' foods to cook in it...

Compact and smart looking model.Easy to use, lovely strong non stick inner plate in basket. Cleans up easily.Little niggle....,Timer starts at 30minutes. Would have liked it to start at 1minute, as you rarely would've needed that amount of time, therefore have to press& hold to get the quick programmes.
