After a move around of the house I bought this to get a freeview signal in another downstairs room, it didn't work. But in context, we live in an old terraced house with 2ft thick sandstone walls, in that same room DAB radio is intermittent and unusable I bought it on the chance that it would work. However I have also tried it in the attic and it works a treat, it picks up all the available freeview channels well and works. So I can't really fault the aerial for not working in, what is effectively, a dead zone. Build wise, its light, easy to set up and has a lovely long cable to connect up however you like.

Bought this aerial to save having to get one one the roof. But was no good signal was very bad and kept freezing. So returned for a refund, have now had one put on roof all good now

I have connected this indoor TV aerial to my old Bush Freeview 32 inch TV, even though my TV doesn’t play in HD this aerial is still compatible.It was so easy to set up and comes with easy to follow instructions, all I did was remove it from its box and plug it in to the back of my TV and it was good to go. I like that this aerial doesn’t require to be plugged in to the mains to work it runs its power from the TV which saves a plug socket.It found all my local chancels with no problems and the picture quality is amazing.The TV aerial itself is every slim and doesn’t take up much room on the window ledge or comes with screws to you can fasten it to the wall.I can’t recommend this product enough.

Useless in lightly wooded atea.
This antenna is powerful!
This antenna is powerful and picks up many more stations than any store bought antenna I've owned. I've bought the square type HDTV panel antennas before, and while they helped to a degree, none came close to the reception of this antenna. I picked up channels with this antenna that I didn't know even existed. Sure, many of the channels are junk channels but the sheer number of choices is a remarkable improvement over the old digital panel antenna. Keep in mind that results will vary based on your location. A rural setting may only see an improvement in resolution of existing channels. Also keep in mind that this is not an antenna to access premium subscription channels.This antenna has a strong magnet that attaches to any metal surface, or can be left standing on any surface. So convenient and simple, just screw the coax onto your tv antenna port and no further action is needed. Cord is long enough that antenna can be located at any height in a standard room.
Works great for local channels, not so much for distant ones
This is a small antenna (about 10 inches tall) with a magnetic mount base for use with modern digital televisions. It seems to be relatively omnidirectional, not so affected by the direction in which it is pointed.Testing it I got all of my local channels quite clearly. Some channels from an adjacent city were iffy, and were more sensitive to antenna positioning.I've seen some low quality TV antennas on the market, this is not one of them. It's beefy and strong, with a strong coaxial cable.Who is this for?- Anyone with a TV who wants to watch local stationsPros:- Receives local stations very strongly- Easy to position (strong magnet in base)Cons:- Not so strong for more distant stations
I have mixed feelings.
This is not a powered antenna, so it's strength is not great. I my living room, I get 1 (primary) channel (in HD I get the sub channels too). In my garage, I get a few more. I don't live very close to broadcast towers, so I need a powered antenna or an outdoor antenna. Since this did get the channels it did.... I'd recommend it if you live in a city and/or near broadcast towers.A nice thing about this antenna is the magnetic base. I actually had it mounted to the back of a TV for a minute. That makes "hiding it in plain site" easier. I just hung it from the back of my TV, instead of having it sit on the TV stand.
Great for when the internet goes out
This is a great antenna for picking up local digital channels. I use it regularly to watch local channels and they come through nice and clear. Set up is easy as it can get. It's just the antenna so you'll need to use your TV's menu options, but it's a powerful one so catching free channels should be relatively painless. This was very handy when my ATT Fiber went out for several hours. I was still able to watch the news in HD. Definitely recommend.
Didn't work for us.
This antenna unfortunately did not work for us. I tried it in several spots in the room for our kitchen TV, and the picture remained frozen and pixilated, no matter where I placed it. I gave each spot a few minutes in case it would un-pixilate and work, but no go. Too bad, as I liked the magnetic base of this one. Back to our old round, flat antenna - also not the greatest, but it at least works more often than not. Oh, well. I let it keep 2 stars, as even though the picture was no good for us, it at least *had* a picture, as opposed to the 'no signal' message that other antennas have given us.
