5.0 out of 5 stars A good fun game the kids have probably seen on social media. Lots of pieces and fun to play
The media could not be loaded. This game is advertised all over social media so my 2 had seen it and wanted it.ProsA good fun game for all agesLike Tetris meets Buckaroo and JengaGreat for coordinationA very generous number of pieces. I doubt you could use them all. I think there are 48 and we rarely got above 10Reasonable priceConsInstructions only on the side of the box and not very clearOverall for the money I think this is good. You have 22 cards and you take it in turns to draw one and then place the stated block on the balance beam. It's not very complicated but does require skill, judgement and balance that means it held my interest as well as the kids. It's not just random chance. This set has a very generous number of pieces. The cards pop out of the sheet easily enough. The only thing I didn't like was the not very clear instructions written only on the edge of the box. Luckily it's easy enough to play so I didn't mark it down for that. The pieces are all decent quality and for £15 it seems reasonable. A good game for the whole family for any party I think. 5*
4.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely, for families looking for a fun way to bond or friends who enjoy a friendly challenge
The moment I laid eyes on this Game, I knew I was in for a treat, or perhaps a test of my patience! Unboxing was a breeze, revealing a colourful array of blocks that seemed to taunt me with their innocent simplicity. As both an adult and a self-proclaimed 'child at heart', I found myself immersed in the challenge, my living room floor a testament to several near-successful tower attempts. It's a delightful blend of frustration and laughter, especially when you see your meticulously stacked tower sway and tumble. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, for families looking for a fun way to bond or friends who enjoy a friendly challenge. Just be prepared for some unexpected architecture lessons along the way!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for all the family
When I first ordered this I thought it may have been a bit too advanced for my 2 granddaughters who at the time were 2 and 4. (now 3 and 5) We opened the game on Christmas Day and both girls loved playing with it.It is not just one game of Tetris type building blocks on a balance base but also stacking bricks and 3D shapes to play with how you like. However the balance game is great fun for all ages. The basic principle is take turns putting 3D shaped bricks onto a stack, building in the same way as the old digital game Tetris. However, the base/foundation is wobbly so you need to try and place the shapes strategically so the the whole lot doesn't topple over. A more advances Jenga if you like. I have to say we all played taking it in turns to they and a our shapes until eventually it topples over and we all loved it. It was great fun we laughed a lot and the best thing was that all ages could play, our 3 year old granddaughter loved it even when she knocked it over a couple of times. As I said earlier, it is also a building brick play toy so children can play on their own discovering 3D shapes and how they interact. There are no small pieces so no choke hazard which for me is essential so the children can play on their own. So to sum up this toy is a hit I highly recommend..
4.0 out of 5 stars Good fun table game
Got this for christmas and played it with my 12 year old who thought it was great (for 20 mins), then got a bit bored (as 12 year olds do). It's a good game for testing your touch and thoughts on fitting shapes into place but the quality is lacking slightly hence the 4 stars, as it does feel quite cheap and plasticky... I did try and place it with my 5 year old granddaughter but she struggled with this and got bored quite quickly. Not saying all 5 year olds will. Play it on a flat raised surface, carpets are not the best foundation.
4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t scream quality, but a fun concept and decent little game adaptable for a range of ages.
A flimsy box with loose pieces inside made of lightweight hard plastic. Add to that the interestingly-translated English on the box, and this is not the most high-end of items. There may be other, fancier versions of this game which I have seen advertised widely recently, but this will certainly do the job and isn’t bad value. There aren’t any instructions inside, just the guide on the box, which isn’t the best but it’s all pretty self-explanatory really. The cards inside are very small and the fact that all the pieces shown are yellow (when the shapes are in a variety of colours) could be confusing for little ones. The wording on the cards is clumsy and unnecessary. It would be better if all pieces of the same shape shared a common colour rather than the random mix of all colours in all shapes, but I suppose you could view it as a learning challenge. You could definitely play it without the cards and it would also be fun for a child to play with solo as well as in a group. They could equally enjoy tessellating the pieces together without even using the balance. A simple but great concept and versatile in use. Personally we shall probably use it as a Xmas afternoon drinking game!
5.0 out of 5 stars Fun!
I had seen this sort of game online and when I saw it here I had to try it with my sister and mum. We had a great time and it all works just as expected. I reccomend covering your table with a blanket and then putting the game on top to dampen that sharp noise it makes when they fall though!
5.0 out of 5 stars Fab game
I've seen this game advertised and so decided to try it. It's lightweight and comes in a small box, very compact, and so therefore is easily portable and easy to fit in a handbag/rucksack. It's a game of strategy, requiring some thinking about how each piece will affect the balance of the base. You think you've figured it, then it tips!! A truly fun and addictive game for all ages. One that we'll be playing for some time.
3.0 out of 5 stars Bit flimsy but does the job
Bit flimsy and a light plastic but does the job! Very easily knocked over but then again I guess that’s the name of the game! The little Tetris pieces and game itself are cool and I imagine its good for development and problem solving etc
