    Bought this to replace a worn out PS controller. It was half the price of the PS controller so seemed worth a punt. It arrived promptly and seemed to work normally for a couple of minutes at which point the left joystick refused to function normally and acted as if I was pushing it hard left the whole time. As a result it was unusable and I returned it for a refund. Maybe I got unlucky on the one sent to me but after that experience I paid more to get a proper PS controller which I knew would be reliable.

    I don't usually write reviews, but thought I would for this, as there were some hidden steps with setting up in my case that others who are struggling may find useful.Following the instructions in the manual about connecting for the first time only got me partially there, as I had to press and hold down the centre circular button (in between the analog sticks) and the share button for several seconds to get paired up. Once connected, it still wasn't working properly, so I needed to go into System Settings>Bluetooth>click on the 'i' icon next to the controller>click 'Game Controller Settings'>click 'Identify' so the controller vibrates. Only after these steps did it work on my Mac.In terms of the feel of the controller itself, it feels identical to my old PS4 controller. I can't fault it in any way here, the build quality is very good for a knock-off controller... probably because they're all made in the same factory.So far, so good! Just a bit finicky to get up and running.*UPDATE* Controller is still working fine, but the battery isn't as good as a genuine PS4 controller (probably to be expected).
