Have trialed one before baby arrives and I think they'll be great! Easy to clean and keep clean too, I love that you can alternate between them which I think will be super helpful.Comes with the witchazel pads which I've heard a re great.I'll come back to compete the review in total once baby has arrived!

I had a c section last week and these have been used each evening to help when the day has caused my incision to start aching and burning. I just tuck it he pad in the front of my trousers, or hold it against the scar. They’re not too heavy and nicely balanced and feel more hygienic than using our lunchbox ones. You get 2 ice gel packs, a12 pack of sleeves and then the wipes. I haven’t used the wipes as just using water there but they smell nice when I did open one to check.The gel pads are a good shape and similar to a sanitary pad in design. I’m not sure how you would use these though for relieving post birth pains if you had a natural birth as you need to be wearing a sanitary pad for the bleeding. Although you can wipe these, it would then force any blood out to the sides and not into a pad, so might then be counterproductive. If pain exists after the bleeding stops though then it would be ok. You could technically use the sleeves but they’re quite thin.

Really good Ice packs that give such a soothing feeling. I understand this isn't for everyone but for me as they are so easy to put in a bag and use, they are perfect. The gel packs being reusable is a great feature and reduces overall waste.Multiple different applications can be done with this pack and is perfect for anyone experiencing some pain that would benefit from cooling relief.

Of course they melt within 15 mins but no one needs ice down there for longer. Like the curve shape and that it comes with two so you can have one on the ready the next time you need it.
Nice Ice Packs, But Don't Absorb
As far as reusable ice packs go, these are really nice. The shape is perfect and they do stay a little softer and more plyable than regular ice packs. They can also be microwaved to making a heating pad instead of an ice pack. The main drawback to these pads is that they don't absorb. They do come with little protective sleaves to go over the ice packs but those don't absorb either. They would be perfect for a c-section incision or a little later postpartum when you aren't having as much drainage and you can combine them with a separate pad. Personally the first few days postpartum, I wanted big heavy, absorbing pads with ice packs built in.
