    I have used this 3 times so far. My trusted Kenwood finally gave up after 35+ years! I found the price to replace though was not affordable at this time, so went for Salter as it's a household name since 1700's. It's good, it looks good, the attachments - like the whisk etc are not as strong as Kenwood, and you can't lift the mixer right up to get the bowl out as I am previously used to, however, it works and I am happy with it.

    I have only really used this mixer for making bread - for which it is perfect. Fit the dough hook and run for 10 minutes and you have perfect dough. The splash guard is a good idea and works well.

    Great design and colour. Good size, would suit any kitchen. Does exactly what we wanted, mixes well even with smaller amounts of ingredients. Good value for money. Not too noisy either.

    Got it on 2nd october, used it today for a cake (5th october) and it suddenly stopped and will not go again!! Crap!I’ve changed plugs etc and still nothing. Not even overheated it had only been mixing for 5 minutes
