My old hammer rubber handle broke off. So remembering my old scouting skills I used this to create a new bound handle. Works well and very comfortable. Further more good value and I have plenty over for other future projects.

The media could not be loaded. This is one huge ball of string. Or, more accurately, Macramé cord.By 'huge', I mean MASSIVE. It certainly isn't going to fit in a kitchen drawer; it requires a cupboard all of its own! If macramé is your cup of tea, then this is an excellent buy. With 5km of cord, you'll be in knotting Nirvana.The quality of this cord is excellent. It is described as being 3mm thick, and it looks to be spot on. I'm only just starting on my macramé adventures, so I expect that this ball will see a lot of errors. At least I won't have to worry about running out.Super string.

Now this is the way to buy your macrame cord, especially if you are a beginner and want something cost effective to practise with. Perfectly good for the experienced macrame enthusiasts too. I ordered the 400metres of 3mm cord, and the whole ball of cord is around 17.5cm wide by 12.5 cm high.The quality is great. It’s thick enough, sturdy enough, and doesn’t fray or unravel easily. When you cut it, it naturally wants to unravel by 1.5cm, then it stops and the cord remains whole after that. You can carefully unravel it yourself though, if you wanted to add a nice fringe or tassel to your work. I noticed that the product description says this is 4 strand cord. I have unravelled mine, and confirm it’s 3mm thick, and 3 ply, not 4. Each of the 3 strands is made up of 9 threads, so 27 individual threads in total.I can’t fault this cord in any way in terms of quality, price or material. I love the fact that it’s all natural cotton, made without using any chemicals. This gives it a natural unbleached off-white ivory colour. It’s soft, flexible, and looks like it will be very easy to work with, and comfortable to use. It smells faintly of old fashioned hessian sacks, which I like the smell of. I haven’t had the time to make anything out of it yet, but I’m fairly new to macrame, so I’m looking forward to using this when I have more time.Well worth the money and very much recommended.

Lässt sich sehr gut verarbeiten
Ich bin von dem Garn sehr begeistert. Es lässt sich vor allem für Ungeübte und Anfänger sehr leicht verarbeiten und ergibt ein sauberes Endresultat. Ich habe nach dem Sessel Utensilo immer noch viel Garn davon übrig und kann weitere Projekte planen. Die Rolle ist also sehr ergiebig für den Preis!Klare Kaufempfehlung!
