    I bought this and thought it would be a bit 'low budget', but have found some incredible things, especially considering the low price;High quality buildKingston NVME driveCrucial memory modulesIt even has a separate fan for the SSD!Very, very well engineered, I really don't know how they've achieved it for the price.Highly recommended.

    As another reviewer mentioned (as I wish I put on value on it rather than assuming it was a one-off) - there's no SATA connector cable, so you cant install an additional drive.So having to return not just this unit, but the extra 16GB of RAM (it only comes with 16GB which is far too little, but credit where its due - it was single stick so buying an additional 16GB of Crucial 5600Mhz brings it up to 32GB of dual channel memory), and the 2TB sata drive also purchased.

    This thing is built like a tank. Its weight is shocking at first, and the fit&finish are impeccable. Right off the bat, these are populated with only one SODIMM (as described) so you can add another module (I used a Crucial stick of the same size/type) with no issue. The fan noise is very pleasant - it has a 'whoosh' sound instead of a whiny, high-pitched noise.Pros:- Fast. Very fast. I briefly tried out windows 11 (included) and it was very speedy. There was no bloatware on it as well (which I found surprising). Running ChimeraOS, steam games run shockingly well.- Quiet. Pleasant fan noise that only ramps rarely.- Well-built. The fit & finish are very, very nice. All pieces fit together extremely well.- RGB hardware button. There's a button on the back that requires only one press to turn off the RGB lights on the top. The 'off' state is remembered across reboots/power cuts!- BIOS. This appears to run a 'reference' AMD BIOS (this is a good thing) that exposes a LOT of options.Cons:- Front USB ports are extremely tight - it's a struggle to plug/unplug items.- Only one M.2 slot - Another slot would've been nice.- I wish it had the option for a USB-C PD port (instead of a 19V barrel jack).For the price (I was able to grab it for $450!) this has got to be the best AMD 7840-based mini PC out there. I would absolutely buy another one. I was hesitant at first as I'd never heard of this company but they quickly went to the top of my 'good brands' list after fiddling with this system.

    Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät. Bei der Windows 11 Pro Aktivierung gab es keine Probleme. Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen beim ersten Start nicht die Option privater Home PC auszuwählen, da man dann gezwungen sich mit einem Microsoft Account anzumelden. Die Auswahl sich bei einem Firmen Netz (Domain) anzumelden bringt auch einige hilfreiche Funktionen mit die es beim Privaten PC nicht, oder nur sehr versteckt gibt.

    Super Slow Wi-Fi and Terrible Performance

    Abysmal performance compared to other Mini PC's with a Ryzen 7 7840HS processor and 780M Graphics.Wi-fi is abhorrently slow too, only reaching a fast as 1Mbps, even with the latest drivers installed. Not to mention that I had jump through hoops contacting the manufacturer just to get the drivers, since their downloads page was down. Terrible customer service, Peladn uploaded the drivers onto a third party file sharing website called "ctfile" so I could download their drivers. No way I was paying premium just to download some device drivers, so it took 3 hours just to download 1GB using the free tier of "ctfile" despite my Gigabit internet connection. Very, very, very unprofessional for a company as big as Peladn.I bought this device simply because the specs looked good on paper, should have done more research first before buying this Chinesium crap. Save your sanity and purchase a Mini PC from a well known brand instead, such as Beelink or Minisforum. You'll have a way better experience than I did. DO NOT BUY FROM PELADN. THEY ARE AN UNPROFESSIONAL JOKE OF A COMPANY.

    RAM überhitzt bei Last wegen Gehäusefehlkonstruktion

    An sich ein nettes Gerät, v.a. für den konkurrenzlos günstigen Preis (hab ihn im August 2024 für 350€ bekommen). Aber leider für Gaming nur sehr begrenzt brauchbar, da bei voller Auslastung das RAM überhitzt und das System dann massiv drosselt. Mehr dazu im Detail weiter unten.Positiv:- hochwertiges Metallgehäuse (nur die Rückseite ist aus Kunststoff wegen der Antennen)- RGB-LED-Beleuchtung dezent und nicht allzu peinlich- HDMI 2.1 (2.0 steht in der Beschreibung, kann aber 120Hz bei 4K-UHD und VRR, also 2.1)- ziemlich leise, auch unter Last leiser als andere Mini-PCs- vernünftige Platzierung der Anschlüsse- professionell aufgebautes Innenleben- sehr leicht zerlegbar, alles mit Schrauben (Kreuz und Hexagon), nichts geklebt- zwei RAM-Slots (einer belegt)- aktive Kühlung der SSD- 2,5 GBit/s LANNegativ:- bei Last überhitzt das RAM und das System drosselt erheblich- bei 16GB nur ein RAM-Slot belegt, also kein Dualchannel und damit langsamer- WLAN relativ schwach- proprietäres Netzteil (kein USB-C wie bei anderen Mini-PCs mit Radeon 780M)- im BIOS ist die GPU schlecht vorkonfiguriert und nutzt zu wenig RAM, kann man umstellen (4-6GB sind gut für Spiele)- kein SDCard-SlotZum Performanceeinbruch einige Details:Spielt man ein Spiel wie z.B. Skyrim damit, wird die GPU zu 100% ausgelastet. Nach zwei bis drei Minuten beginnen dann Probleme, da durch die hohe GPU-Last das (shared) RAM überhitzt. Die Framerate geht nach und nach in den Keller und das Framepacing ist katastrophal, spielen wird zur Qual. Nach etwa zehn Minuten ist die Framerate dann auf der Hälfte des Anfangswerts und das Framepacing ist wieder normal, das Spiel bleibt dann auf diesem Level und wird wieder spielbar wenn die Framerate nicht zu schlecht ist. Skyrim (1080p, volle Details) fällt z.B. von 46 auf 23 fps.Die Ursache ist überhitztes RAM (hat mich viele Stunden an Recherche gekostet). Der Systemkühler auf der SSD scheint das daneben liegende RAM gar nicht mitzukühlen. Zudem saugt der Lüfter die Luft vom Boden des Geräts ein, aber der Abstand zum Tisch ist dank winziger Gummifüße sehr gering, vielleicht 1mm.Ich hab die Temperatur mal bei offenem Boden gemessen und das RAM kam auf 73°C (mehr als GPU und CPU!). Mit geschlossenem Boden und knappem Abstand zum Tisch wird es vermutlich noch heißer.Stelle ich das Gerät senkrecht auf, entferne den Boden und platziere einen kleinen Handventilator so, dass er auf das RAM bläst, läuft das System auch über lange Zeit vollkommen stabil und die o.g. Einbrücke bei der Framerate und das schlechte Framepacing finden nicht mehr statt.Als simple Gegenmaßnahmen hab ich dann mal das RAM im BIOS von 5600 MT/s auf 5200 MT/s limitiert, mehr Abstand zwischen Gehäuseboden und Tisch geschaffen und die Lüfterdrehzahl des Systemlüfters im BIOS erhöht. Leider bringt das alles auch nichts. Um das Problem zu beheben, muss man wohl erheblich mehr am Gehäuse herumbasteln und das verkorkste Lüftersystem so umbauen, dass es das RAM mitkühlt.Für Office & Co sollte er aber problemlos sein, da wird das System ja nicht dauerhaft belastet. Alles was für längere Zeit das System auslastet (Gaming, Videokodierung usw.) löst die Überhitzung des RAMs mit folgendem Drosseln aus. Ich weiß auch nicht, wie lange das RAM die Überhitzung überlebt.Ich habe auch einen recht ähnlichen Acemagic AM18 und der hat diese Probleme nicht, mit dem kann man stundenlang gamen ohne Drosselung. Dafür ist er teurer, lauter und sehr hässlich.Wer sich den PELADN HA-4 (wie ich) als kleine Steam Machine mit Bazzite (SteamOS) und für Emulation holen will - Finger weg! Ohne größere Hardware-Mods ist er dafür nicht zu gebrauchen.

    Stabiles Produkt mit kleineren Mankos

    Der Mini PC kommt an und funktioniert einwandfrei. Verbaut sind Teile von namhaften Herstelleren. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist gut, keine scharfen Kanten am schönen und wertigen Gehäuse.Leistungstechnischen ist der Mini PC richtig gut und sein Geld mehr als Wert!Einzige Mankos die ich bisher ausmachen konnte, ich habe keinen.Connector für eine etwaige 2.5"SSD/HDD gefunden und die Ports am Frontpanel sind recht "eng", das ein/ausstecken von USBs erfordert ein wenig Kraft.Darüber kann ich aber gut und gerne hinwegsehen. Aufjedenfall ein Gerät das ich weiterempfehlen würde und PELADN hat sich direkt in die Liste der guten und vertrauenswürdigen Marken eingetragen bei mir.
