My previous scales from a retailer with initials JL gave up the ghost. I'd picked them years ago because it used AAA batteries not the more usual watch batteries. This is better still - rechargeable via usb C.And it is far more precise - and seems to be accurate. Best improvement - the scale goes up gradually as you add stuff, not often jumping 2 or 3 gms as those JL ones did. Not great when weighing out coffee beans for one cupSmall, neat, easy to read due to large display and raised bed. Easy to use. Very happy

The Tada scale is not only aesthetically pleasing in design, but also lightweight, and its LCD screen is very easy to read thanks to its backlight. The display remains visible for a long time after weighing.After thoroughly reviewing similar products on Bolo, I chose this one because it charges via USB-C, so you don't have to hunt for replacement batteries when they run out, and it can even be charged with a phone cable, plus, it's extremely easy to clean and has superb accuracy.I can even place a heavy grill pan on it, tare it, and see exactly how much olive oil I've added. The 0.1g precision is fantastic. I highly recommend it for those who count calories to lose weight. You can weigh even the cinnamon sprinkled on your rolled oats in the morning and add it to your calorie count.For people like me, who have struggled to lose weight for years, this is a significant technological innovation and advantage.

I've only been using this kitchen scale for a day but it is easy to use.It responds to weights quickly and responds to small increments of added weight, i.e. they are sensitive. The previous set of scales from a different manufacturer only responded slowly to 2 g increments and weren't particularly stable with their readings.The display starts to register a weight at 0.5 g but I can't verify whether this is an accurate reading at this value as I don't has a series of low weight reference weights.The scales respond to small additions above this value and the reading is stable, with occasional fluctuations of only 0.1 g.Whilst there is a difference between precision (0.1 g) and accuracy (less than 0.5 percent error with uncertified reference weights) the displayed weights are similar to reference weights from the range of low weights (1 g) to 2.3 kg. Obviously not certified laboratory or commercial standard but reasonable.When a 2.4 kg weight (plastic 2 pint milk bottle with contents) is added it accurately adds a 7.1 g reference weight (2 pence piece weighed on laboratory balance) with only 0.1 g discrepancy.Given the range of up to 5 kg capacity, quite remarkable compared to alternatives. I wouldn't expect this from the 10 kg scales in this range however.The scale is a little smaller than I expected, but not an issue, unless you need to weigh items which obscure the display.The backlit display is easy to read with clear large numbers.The touch sensitive buttons are not mechanical and work well, but maybe not so with wet fingers or gloves (not tried this).Although waterproof to IPX6 and the box shows them being washed under a running tap the instructions tell you not to immerse the scale in water.I've had issues with other makes of scale with coin cells not lasting very long or making poor contact so the recharge ability of these is a great feature. I don't yet know how long a full charge will last and I can't comment on how long they hold their charge but they arrived with 2/3 charge capacity.

Very few products compel me to write a review, but in the short time I've had the scales, I have really enjoyed using them. I use them mostly for weighing out smoothie ingredients, and for making espresso, and they are really accurate and have a subtle physical feedback when placing an item that gives a high quality experience (hard to explain!). Plus, usb charging! No more batteries!
