What? Bacofoil making binbags?! Yes, it's true... But they're not made of aluminium foil, they're just the usual binbag plastic.We have a SimpleHuman pedal bin, and my wife has often bought the SimpleHuman bags that go in it. Their bags are very thick, with great draw-strings, good solid rims around the top, are the right size (obviously) for their own bins, and they have a little tag when you're getting to the end of the roll to remind you to buy a new pack.But, the downside to the SimpleHuman bags is that they're sooooo expensive. You're literally paying for something you immediately throw in the bin!When my wife goes away on one of her work trips, I'll often chuck the last SimpleHuman bag out and get an off-brand replacement roll instead of buying more of their bags. The OH will get annoyed with me, but the bags will be (mostly) fine, and do the job, but she'll go back to SimpleHuman when they run out.Therefore, I wanted a named brand that's not too expensive, has a definite benefit over the SH bags, and comes in a box big enough that they won't get swapped out after a month.... And I think I found them.These boxes come with 6 rolls in each, and each roll has loads of bags on it. There's enough bags here for a normal household for a year or so I reckon. The bags are supposed to have a citrus smell. I have to admit that the smell is there for the first few hours once I put them in the bin, but it goes away very quickly. They're not the cloying ones my mother in law uses, but I have to admit I prefer the smell of the ones she uses over the stightly wrong citrus smell of these.The plastic isn't quite as thick as the SH bags, so it has ripped before when I've pulled a really heavy bag out and tried to pull it tight with the drawstring.However, their price can't be argued with. Almost as cheap as the offbrand ones, but they're noticeably better.If they didn't rip so easily, they'd get a 5 stars, as the citrus smell is.. okay... But I do knock them one star for being a teensy bit weak around the drawstring.

Really impressed with these. Other ones I've used in the past have always a chemically smell, but these ones just smell of citrus.The bag is quite strong too, could definitely stand up to a few uses in the recycling bin.

We often have a residual smell from the metal/plastic bin which remains once the bags are removed. These were quite a pricy item, but figured they'd help abolish the ongoing issue. They smelled great on opening the box, but soon, the smell got weaker and the remaining rolls now barely have any. The bags are good, strong enough and the handles don't tear, so that's a positive, but not quite what I bought them for. The remaining ones will sit in the cupboard till the smell is completely gone and next time, I'll buy some normal bags.

These are such a great product design! We unfortunately get through a regular supply of bin bags in our house with 2 kittens (stinky cat litter disposal). As they start to explore the outside this will improve but for now we need to change their litter once a day and tend to empty it into the bin bag straight out of our kitchen bin and outside to the wheelie bin. The fact they are recycled is great as it's clearly not brilliant to be using so much plastic.This bumper pack bin bags are perfect. They are solidly put together so don't tear easily, yet they have a very effective pull apart serrated line to make it nice and easy to pull each bin bag off the roll. The red drawstring at the top makes it nice and easy to tie up the ends.The fragrance is a really excellent and innovative feature. Great for a kitchen bin so that any food waste sitting in there is masked by the pleasant smell. It's also great given the cat litter we deposit in there daily at present isn't quite so smelly when binned.Price wise they represent really good value for the amount of bags you get.
