    It took me a while to figure out how to actually put this together, as there were no instructions. The dowels are reasonably easy to attach to the plates, and I like that you can cut them to size depending on the height of your cake. The central hole means you can keep all the plates in position, and it's overall a decent system, particularly for beginners. Just be aware that it doesn't come with instructions
