5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely moist wipes that do the job
A bit fiddly to unfold the wipes sometimes but other than that am satisfied
4.0 out of 5 stars Good size.
Good to provide eye comfort.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really helping reduce eye irritation
Lots of eye wipes have ingredients in them which irritate my skin such as cocamidapropyl betaine, this one doesn't.They are large enugh and easy enough to tear in half that you can use one wipe for both eyes. The cost is okay for usng one wipe morning and evening, would seem a bit steep if I was using 4 per day.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good wipes, my eyelids felt refreshed.
The media could not be loaded. This helps remove sticky, and crusty eyelids, too much computer use will cause eyelids to also overheat, and feel overall sticky and that puts a strain on the eyes. Each sachet is made with seperation in mind, you can't use one wipe for both eyelids, I guess this is to prevent germs mixing from one eye and the next, unless you can sneak a cheat code in there.EG/ they are both made of the same ingredients, and they are large enough to actually use one side with one eyelid and the other side with the other eyelid, I did this with no problems, and it saves on wipes lasting a lot longer than using 2 wipes a day.Wash hands first, then you can use my cheat to save on wipes. I suppose the only exception is if one eye is infected you will want to use one wipe per eyelid, so you don't transfer the infection onto the next eyelid, but if you have healthy eyelids and eyes, I see no problem with sharing the wipe with your other eyelid. After using them I felt refreshed, my eyelid felt clean, and a nice cooling effect. If I could pick one issue out of this product, it be I wish there was 448 as these won't last long at 48. 15 quid is pricey.
3.0 out of 5 stars Expensive, and not for everyone
I ordered these as an alternative to using eye drops for dry eyes, as I am allergic to many components of most drops. However, when I received the box of wipes and checked the ingredients, I found they were also present in the wipes, so I have been unable to use them. I did, however, let a friend test them, and she reports that they were quite effective after a day spent at the computer, and were easy to use. The advice given, though, to use separate wipes, one for each eye, makes this a very expensive option compared to using drops. so overall I would say they are not the best value for money. It might also be a good idea to check the list of ingredients before purchase, as although the box states 'preservative free', the wipes are not 'chemical free', as I found when I double checked the box.
4.0 out of 5 stars 24 pairs of eye wipes. Possibly effective.
These arrived in their product box with an expiry of October 2027, and are 48 wipes packaged as 24 pairs for use as one per eye The packaging reinforces this, saying "for optimal results use one per eye". This is sensible to avoid contaminating your second eye with any debris from the first, but I wanted to see whether it was really necessary. Although the wipes are small, I found it possible to use about half of a wipe for the first eye, then flip the wipe over and use the other side of the other half on the second eye, minimising the chance of contamination. I wiped across the eyelids with eyes closed from the inner corner to the outer corner as directed. The wipes are very moist, and felt comfortable to use as well as somewhat refreshing. There was no smell I could detect, although the composition mentions tea tree oil.I did some research on the approach as I was sceptical, given that you're wiping the eyelid and not actually cleaning the eye. There have been studies showing benefits for some eye conditions, though also some doubt. I think my eyes did feel slightly refreshed, though with just a couple of wipes across the eyes, I may be imagining this. I'll certainly continue to use these out of interest to see whether I find any long term benefit, but at their price point, long term use would be expensive. Rating as 4 based on no obvious faults, value and potential but inconclusive benefit so far.
5.0 out of 5 stars An alternative to drops.
Apparently my first review was not permitted so I shall cautiously try again! I may have referenced a medical condition so I shall refrain from that and just explain that these are refreshing wipes which we found suitable for dry irritated eyes for someone who doesn't favour drops.I found them to be pleasant to use when they'd been stored in the fridge too, just as an 'end of doing some chores' freshen up on a non-makeup, choring around the house day. I don't have any specific allergies so the ingredients are fine for me and they helped me to avoid the urge to give my eyes a good rub when they felt a bit dry and irritated as that's not good for them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Soothing Relief for Dry Eyes - MyHalos Eye Wipes
As someone who battles dry eyes, especially after staring at a computer screen all day, I decided to give these MyHalos eye wipes a try. They've been a welcome addition to my routine! The wipes come in individual packets, with two wipes per packet - one for each eye. The packaging recommends using one per eye, which makes sense to avoid spreading any bacteria. However, if you aren't wearing eye makeup and don't have any eye infections, you could potentially use one wipe for both eyes carefully, doubling the number of uses. The wipes themselves are very gentle on the eyelids. They have a slightly cooling feel that helps soothe irritation and leave my eye area feeling refreshed. I haven't noticed any burning or stinging, which is a plus for sensitive eyes.Overall, I'm impressed with these MyHalos wipes. They're a convenient and effective way to keep my dry eyes feeling comfortable, especially after long days in front of the computer.
A huge relief.
I must have had an eye infection. Though this product is not meant as a medical treatment, when your eye itches, tears, and makes vision near impossible, wiping the irritated eye with a finger does nothing to relieve the itching feeling. I gave this a try and it really soothes my eye about 25 seconds after use. It was such an improvement. I also used the towelett in the morning to remove the dried salts after the tears evaporated during sleep. That also was much better than using my finger. My eye is much better, but I will keep these handy for 'computer vision' as the company calls it.
Works
These were a little wetter than I like.
good product
no time for written review... problem with eyes.. buy this.
Convenient and non irritating
Suffering from dry eye, I use a lot of drops. These wipes are perfect to clean any build-up. on the eyelids. Refreshing too.
Good Wipe…
It’s a sizable wipe. I use upper portion for one eye and then the lower portion for the other eye. Still enough afterwards to clean the eye brows and adjacent area to the eyes. A good bargain.
