    Looking back through the reviews it seems that most of the previous reviews are for a different product altogether, doing a bit of searching uncovered this now unavailable product (same product) https://www.Bolo.co.uk/NETVUE-Peekababy-Baby-Monitor-Camera/dp/B0BWJGZ2FC on Bolo which has less than favourable reviews stating a lot of the problems we ended up having.Battery life of the monitor itself was poor and wouldn't even last a full night on a full charge, having to have this plugged in all night left us uncomfortable.Despite being able to connect it to WiFi it kept disconnecting in the night.Cry detection didn't work at all. Changing sensitivity made no difference at all.Motion detection was going off every minute despite there being no movement at all. Again changing the sensitivity made no difference.Zoom feature was only available on phones and was grainy when used unlike other baby monitors. Functionality between the mobile app and the monitor itself greatly differed which begs the question, why even bother with a monitor if the app can do so much more? You'd think so you don't have to have your phone on loud all night so other phone notifications are also going off at night as and when they come through.This is no good as a baby monitor due to all the above highlighted faults, refunded after the first night of "use" to replace with one that actually lasts overnight and not a mere 5 hours.

    Bought this to replace our old camera we used for our first child. I love the way you can attach it to the cot bars by either wrapping the bendy handle round or using the clamp attachment. Can use the handheld monitor or phone app. Has an alarm for cry detection and temperature etc. Lots of little details thought of to help, like all bags labelled with whats inside, a tool to take apart the extension pole.Only negative is handheld monitor battery doesnt last too long and needs to be used with power cable which is very shortOther than that, great camera!

    I bought this product thinking it would work using my new 5g router and didn't read the small print (not very tech savvy), unfortunately the apparatus connected at home and worked for a short while before the camera connection dropped. Have now returned the product, would have been helpful if this limitation was made clear on the main product page.

    The monitor kept alarming all night saying it had lost connection with the camera! It was bloody awful and I’m gutted I’ve missed the return window by 10 days!! What a waste of £100!The router for the WiFi is in the room below so it’s not as if it’s far, it shouldn’t loose connection! Don’t waste your money!!

    Ordered this based on reviews - hoping to transition our very little one to napping by himself so we can get some much needed time to ourselves!Since receiving this - it’s been nothing but hard work.First off - no matter how many different ways I attempted to - I couldn’t connect the camera to the monitor. I could connect the camera to my phone (via the poor app - more on that soon!) but I bought a baby MONITOR. It absolutely tanked the battery on my phone. Seeing as I ordered this for me & my husband to use - I sent a help ticket via the app as it was unrealistic to use my phone permanently to view the video feed.The app itself is abysmal. Logging a help ticket via a chat function crashed the app every time my screen went down, meaning I would get booted from one chat and then having to start again through another chat with another customer service agent. After about 90mins of piecing together info, they said that the camera was faulty and they’d send an entirely new replacement and I didn’t have to ship back the faulty one (which is a bit of a red flag - surely they’d want the faulty one to check the error? Unless this happens often…!)Fast forward 3 weeks - and the replacement arrives. The camera connects to the app right away, and we have about 2 weeks of good baby monitor usage. Until you want to unplug the camera - then good luck getting the camera to switch on again in any reasonable amount of time. Unplugging it, switching off at the mains, unplugging the cable at the camera end, removing the USB adapter, taking everything out and putting it back in doesn’t guarantee that this camera will switch back on. It’s so inconsistent - it’s beyond frustrating because our baby’s cot is currently in our room, so I need to move the cot (and attached camera) pretty regularly to access the wardrobe, I think it’s pretty reasonable to expect an electronic piece of equipment to switch on consistently - particularly given that it’s relatively new.I’m going to submit another help ticket to find out why the camera doesn’t switch on consistently, but truthfully, with a 3 month old baby, I don’t really have the time to sit in a chat that will inevitably be disconnected and I’ll have to speak to two+ people again.Poor quality, overpriced, inconsistent - wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t buy again at all. 2 stars because when it works - it does exactly what it needs to (although be warned - turning the camera on - when it does turn on - creates a rather loud bell noise - put the camera on BEFORE putting the little one in bed!) but I’m honestly going to just bite the bullet and fork out more money for another camera that works better (because we’re well past the return period!)Don’t recommend!

    Was faulty and hard to use. Monitor wouldn’t work so just used camera to phone and constantly froze or lost signal. Ended up getting refund

    I recently purchased the Peekababy smart baby monitor with camera, and I am extremely satisfied with it. The versatile 4-in-1 holder made it easy to mount, and the secure cable management gave me peace of mind about safety. The instant notifications for motion, along with the 2-way talk feature, have been invaluable. The screen is really clear, and the night vision means I can always keep an eye on things at any time of day or night. I haven't made a lot of use out of the additional features like feeding reminders, temperature monitoring, and account sharing, but they seem really useful. Highly recommend!
