    Worked ok for a couple of weeks then unit started to have issues reading discs and actually was putting scratch rings in them like somethings touching the spinning disc from the unit. Trying to sort but it keeps cycling through Bolo help to no avail and won’t let me replace or return.EDIT - After I put this review the company contacted me and sent a replacement which works much better than the original item. Many thanks for sorting. Changed to 4 stars as replacement is a great little burner.

    Tbh didn't even get as far as testing the drive for anything else like write speeds etc. i specifically wanted to play my 3D bluray discs… but they didn't work and states that the drive is incompatible with 3D even 4K. I have PowerDVD Ultra 23 and that even showed the same thing. Tried 4-5 different discs and all the same. I would leave 4 stars as a normal Bluray i tested played fine but for the price, without this feature and the fact i wasted my time and have to return it… 3 is fair.

    No functionality. Software support for 4K no longer exists.Drive was noisy and glitchy. Was returned within a few days for the first reason.I advise thorough research before thinking of buying this or any other 4K blue ray drive for pc.

    Couldn't get the player to read 4K blu-ray movie's on iOS, worked well with normal blu-ray, however not as intended.

    This device works great on PCs, but not so much on Macs. For those that are wondering why they can't play AACS-encrypted discs, that is by design and totally not up to this drive's manufacturer. You will need software such as PowerDVD to play the discs, or MakeMKV to make a backup copy for personal use.I hope this review helps you make an informed purchasing decision!

    Works well and love it's 2 USB 2.0 & USB type C ports.

    It will NOT play my 4k or regular Blu Ray movies.

    I wasted all this money on something that does not work as promoted and even after downloading different media players I can't watch the movies because of DRM protection. It does NOT work for movies, but it worked for CDs.
