    This is a set of plastic rectangular boards that have a picture and an upper and lower case letter that corresponds to the picture (eg. Ll - lion). There are then different clips that attach to the bottom of each board. There are 36 clips and 12 letters. The reason for giving this item only 4 stars is because there are only 12 letters and I had to use the sheet that came with the product to work out which letter some of the items started with (eg. a glass with a straw or other orange liquid in - Juice! It could have been glass or drink. There is also a ship but this could also be called a boat.) The children I played this activity with loved it and it held their interest and they wanted to play with it repeatedly.

    This is a very useful set, first of all for parents,to get involved in the game and educating children. Our boy is at the beginning of his journey, we are just learning new words, and this method of learning while playing was recommended to us by all our friends who have older children. It helps the little ones a lot to associate words with images and this facilitates their memorise process. The pieces attract with vibrant colors and clear images of the objects or animals in question. Clipping small parts is very easy, just by lightly pressing the edges. I really like that we can start the game from the beginning without feeling repetitive, the search for images that start with the same letter is done every time with the same interest and enthusiasm by our child. I warmly recommend, such activities deserve to be bought despite its value, anyway this game has a very accessible price.

    Given that phonics are the method of choice for learning to read in schools, I thought this might be helpful for my 4 year old grandson whose speech is a bit delayed.Positives: Well presented in a box for storage. Good concept and fun for one or more children who can compete to find the picture tiles first. Encourages quality adult/child time. Tiles are good quality. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are 3 picture tiles to find for each letter. Good for promoting fine motor skills as the picture tiles have mini bulldog clips to attach to the letters. Helps pronunciation and speaking opportunities when talking about the picture tiles.Negatives: There are only 12 letters. O is the only vowel included.I really like this product but I don’t understand why there are only 12 letters included, which is less than half of the alphabet. It may be that these are the most common starting sounds but the information doesn’t state that, or perhaps the manufacturer sells different sets. Much as I like the concept and the materials, I wouldn’t buy this item because of the limited amount of letters.

    My daughter is almost 4 and loves this set. She is very much into phonics at this time and this has been perfect for use to exercise and connect. All pieces are sturdy, printed images are clear, colourful and fun to get engagement out of the little ones. Each main tile has 3 peg style smaller tiles that can be clipped on to associate 3 words starting with that letter. Good conversation starters and also fine motor skills can be practiced when clipping/unclipping. We just wish it was a full set, as my daughter who is autistic doesn't understand why not all letters are present and keeps trying to find the rest. Overall, great set but incomplete. Would still recommend it though.

    The quality of the tiles Is very good, as the print and colours are vibrant and engaging. The main letter titles are green which contrast fairly well with the green image titles you have to match. They click on and off easily enough, and provide with auditory stimulation.My toddler is starting to recognise letters and sounds so she loves this kit!
