    Not bad at all although the remote control does rely on "line of sight" so don't put the plug behind a sofa or table because it won't work.

    I got these for Christmas and until then have not used these in anger. However compared to the ones I already have for our tree I can tell these are much better quality. I can tell this by the way these lights fade in and out. As many LEDs have a digital controller as the lights dim, particularly when they slowly dim it is possible to see the steps the light dim at rather than a nice linear curve. This one's dim very smoothly. If you look very closely it is possible to see but I'm sure once you have these on a tree or wrapped around something and you're a few meters away you won't be able to tell.The remote works well. It's your generic LED light IR remote but works well at many angles. I do not find myself having to be super precise where I point the remote to get the lights to change function.Overall I've very pleased with the lights and cannot wait till Christmas to put this on my tree.

    These are an excellent set of fairy lights that you can use for multiple projects. They’re great if you just want to use them at Christmas, but they produce such a warm diffuse light that you really want to see them all year round.I have several sets and these are equal in terms of quality and flexibility to the best of them. My plan for these is to use them in a glass vase to make a nice lamp. Because they’re so warm they don’t need to be shaded like a single bulb would be, so you I’ll be able to put it anywhere in the room to add an accent or create separate areas. You aren’t going to get any issues with dazzling lights so you can use them in your eye line with no problems.The remote control is a great bonus as it means you don’t need to keep getting up to turn them on and off. You can also dim them with it. It also comes complete with a battery that you activate by removing a tiny plastic isolation tab.For the money I think they’re a good deal and I highly recommend them.

    £12.99 (currently with an extra 20% off as well) for 12 metres of indoor / outdoor lights with adjustable brightness and timer function - bargain!Christmas is rapidly approaching, but even before Christmas the nights are drawing in and so it's the perfect time to put up some cheery lights in the garden. Wrap them around a tree or through a bush - anywhere to brighten dreary autumn up.These are main powered so make sure you are close enough to a waterproof socket before you put the lights up. You can adjust the brightness and timing with the included remote control. I have no idea how I am going to remember which remote goes with which set of lights! Probably have to use a permanent marker pen on the back of the remote.The lights seem good quality, and are sun/rain/snow-proof so should last leaving them out of the cold period and into the summer. Go and buy 2 packs to cheer yourself up. Bargain.

    The length of these lights is amazing - I didn’t realise that they are 15m long - I am so happy! They are really bright and look pretty, there are enough lights to decorate the whole of my conservatory! The remote works well and you can choose which setting you would like the lights on - I like the twinkling effect best as it is the prettiest. Would definitely recommend, they are much brighter than others I have tried.
