Didn’t know what to expect with this watch but am very happy. The automatic movement hasn’t missed a beat since I first put it on. I will admit it took a little while to get used to looking at a skeleton movement but the lightness and construction of the watch more than made up for those first days of working out where the hands were. Overall very impressed with this brand and the price for a very good automatic watch.

I like the watch a lot and wear it regularly which is quite a feat given I have other watches and I stopped wearing a watch altogether for the last 2 years. It is quite light and the strap is comfortable so I barely notice it is there and even sleep with it on sometimes. It looks great and I would say it both feels and looks like it is of high quality. My only issue is that as an older man who needs reading glasses it is hard to read the time as the edge of the two hands is white and it blends in with all the silver. It would have been better if these were a more stand out colour to make reading the time quicker and requiring less focus.

This GIGA Design watch is beautifully presented to you, it arrives in the manufacturers branded box complete with the brand sealing sticker to assure you it is in a factory sealed condition.Inside the outer box is the watch display box which is housed in a foam lining to prevent movement while being transported.You then need to remove the plastic sealed covering to finally get to the watch display and presentation box.Not quite there yet, next you have to slide off the laser cut sleeve displaying an eye symbol in a triangle shape.Hooray, we've reached the watch box and it is a stunning shiny silver colour.Opening the box I find the watch piece and the strap not in separate housing holes, the strap needs connected to the watch piece but no tools are needed thankfully and fitted easily in a matter of seconds (no pun intended)The strap is made of a very soft and flexible silicone type of material and has a raised ribbed design with a shaped end making it easy to slot in the loop.The strap feels comfortable with no digging in and surprisingly not sweaty which I expected.The watch face is a magnificent work of art and is neither round in shape or square but like a square with rounded off corners.You can see the watch mechanism from both sides front and back as they have transparent covers.The ticking hand is not actually a pointer but a triangle which replicates the ticking hand, this triangle seamlessly goes round and round and very pleasant to witness while wearing.The watch pointers blend in with the mechanism and watch movement so you need to focus quickly to see the time but they are easily identifiable by their pointed ends, they look like small swords.There is no numbers on the watch facing but it does have markers in the position of the numbers and large markers at the North, South, West and East position.The time pointers, the number markers and also the central ticking triangle all have a glow in the dark finish on them, this triangle is a beauty.

I have quite a few watches and generally the packaging consists of a fairly boring branded cardboard box, a watch cushion, a warranty, and if you're very lucky, a set of instructions. "Ciga design" have really gone above and beyond when it comes to their packaging. I really appreciate the innovative approach they've taken to creating something quite unique and interesting. Opening the pages of what looks like a book the first page tells us about the "Eye of Horus", before then discovering the watch, and at the end of the book we have instructions. I love the amount of thought they've put into this.The watch, embedded within the middle pages of the book, has to be assembled before wearing. The straps have to be attached to the watch but, due to the quick release spring bars, this is very easy and quick to do. Once on the wrist the first thing I noticed was just how incredibly soft and pliable the silicone strap is. It's probably one of the most comfortable traps I've worn. It's not inflexible and tough like some dive watch straps. The watch is very light compared to any other automatic watches I've owned. It feels more like you're wearing a Casio G-Shock rather than something containing an automatic movement. The watch really has some serious wrist presence, its very eye catching, but due to the dark colours it's not overly garish. It manages to grab you're attention without being blingy.The Caliber CD-01 movement is aesthetically very attractive and a good choice for a skeletonised watch. I love looking at watch movements and you get a very nice view from both the front and back of the watch. Obviously there's no date as a date wheel would obscure the inner workings of the movement. One downside is that it does take a second or two to find the hour and minute hands when telling the time. However you do get more adept at finding the hands the more you wear it. The watch takes some design cues from the likes of Richard Mille, and Hublot, except at a massively reduced price. If you can't afford the price tag of the aforementioned watches, and not many of us can, this is a great alternative that captures a similar look for a fraction of the price. It does however have it's own character and isn't a direct homage of any of these watches.The dimensions of the watch may seem quite large but, because there are almost no lugs to speak of, it actually wears very well on my 6.75" wrist. It doesn't look too large at all.Overall I'm very happy with this watch. I like it's unusual and daring design. The packaging is innovative and it's also incredibly comfortable.

The watch time can be a little difficult to see due to the layout of the dial it in has a nice attractive design I do wish it had a date as that is something people need regularly.

I love automatic watches. No battery, wind it once and as long as I keep this on my wrist it will stay running as long as i wear it. So far this has been the case with the Eye of Horus watch. I wore it for a week straight and never once did I have to wind it. The self winding feature is working great for me. By the way, the it's a bi directional winding device, which is something you see a lot on high end watches. Whether it swings clockwise or counter clockwise, it winds the watch. I have to say, I really dig the aesthetic concept. Combing Horus with a wristwatch. Its done very tastefully too. The watch looks great. Like a little art piece on my wrist. It is a traditional style watch with two hands and a second hand, but the second hand is a rotating triangle. The hour and minute hands can be seen pointing to time markings amount the outer perimeter. The watch is "skeletonized" which means you can clearly see the movement. The movement appears to be floating in the center of the watch at first glance. All the little gears and balance wheel pulsing like a heart beat. The back of the case is also glass so you can see right through the whole movement. I don't think the glass is sapphire, but rather some kind if mineral glass. It seems to be scratch resistant so far. No damage at all despite being very active while wearing it. I've been noticing automatic watches pop up lately that are reasonably priced. I'm not opposed to trying something new. A lot of the luxury watches are overpriced due to brand recognition alone. I love seeing well made, imaginitive automatic watches priced reasonably. For the money, this watch is an excellent little piece. People have asked me about it because it's so unique. It catches the eye and people want to know "who makes it, where'd did I get it?" Etc. The watch itself is very well made. Its lighter than stainless steel but has a nice presence on my wrist. I believe it's some kind of ceramic. The description says bioceramic. Not sure what that is exactly, but it looks great. It's not trying to be another luxury watch clone. It's it's own thing and for that I am grateful. The band is just a basic silicone band. Very soft and flexible. Very comfortable. However, I might go ahead and get a leather band for this watch. Either way, this watch is definitely going to be added to the rotation.

Si capisce subito già dal packaging che ci troviamo di fronte ad un prodotto di estrema qualità costruttiva, una mini opera d'arte al vostro polso.La presentazione è davvero incredibile, il modello si chiama occhio di horus e all'interno della custodia ci sono alcune pagine dedicate proprio alla storia ed al concept.L'orologio è davvero stupendo, realizzato a regola d'arte con materiali top, cassa in bioceramica e vetro temperato, ossidiana incastonata sulla corona, cinturino in silicone super morbido.Questo orologio è meccanico ed automatico, non possiede dunque batteria interna e si ricarica manualmente garantendo una lunga durata.Adoro questo pezzo in quanto amante della storia egizia e dei suoi misteri, questo pezzo è davvero unico e dona al proprio outfit un tocco super elegante.La notte si illumina anche al buio in modo da avere un ottima visibilità anche in scarse condizioni di luce.Se anche voi siete rimasti catturati dal suo design unico e vi piace questo genere di orologi, ve lo consiglio.
