4.0 out of 5 stars Exciting light-up dance mat with Bluetooth
This dance mat has provided endless fun for my kids. The light-up arrows and multiple game modes keep them entertained for hours. The Bluetooth feature allows them to play their favorite music, adding an extra layer of excitement. The mat is non-slip and easy to clean, which is a plus. However, I wish the music selection was more varied, but it’s still a fantastic product for young dancers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Decent size for younger children
This mat is not quite as big as some of the photoshopped photos make it appear, but it is a decent size for a single child/ young teenager to play on comfortably. It needs batteries, but is easy to set up and get going. We have been playing on it for a month and it is still going strong.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great to keep kids entertained
I got this to keep kids entertained for a party but can also be used generally too to keep young ones amused. It's great that it has Bluetooth connectivity so that you can play your own music. Easy and harder modes. Adults can use it too which is fun at a party but if you have big feet it's just best to tap it. Gave us great fun and gets your kids active
4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, definitely more suited for children
As an adult, it's easy to take up space on many of the squares at once as it is small. But it is fun to do. There are different modes and levels of difficulty which make it engaging. Connecting via bluetooth you can play your own music - the only downside being that you cannot change the difficulty level and are stuck with it being easy and one move at a time. I would prefer to have a higher level option when playing my own music. I am not sure it's worth the price as I have one for the Wii that is much cheaper and offers a lot more. But it's good for helping keeping fit and will keep kids entertained for hours.
5.0 out of 5 stars Dance mat
Easy and fun to set up and use. Exercise. Giftable. A little over priced for my liking but my daughter loves it so I would recommend.
4.0 out of 5 stars The kids are obsessed
My kids absolutely love this. I was surprised that having a few years between them, they all enjoyed it massively. It’s fun to do inside and out. The music can become a little repetitive, with a few tunes recycled, but they didn’t seem to mind that either. You can change the difficulty and the volume, which I appreciated. The downside is that the light that tells you the direction on the display panel is not very bright at all and can be a little confusing in light conditions. Otherwise, it’s very easy to follow and good fun.
Lots of fun for the grandkids!
Both my 3 and 5 year old granddaughters thought this dance mat was a lot of fun right out of the box. With two of them on the mat at the same time it sort of reminded me of the old Twister game. Volume control was an added bonus!
It's fun
My 1 year old thinks this is fun....although he's more interested in the buttons right now. It's fun tho. I like it
Works great, although has its issues
I recently got the 2024 Light Up 8-Button Dance Mat with Wireless Bluetooth for my 5-year-old, and it’s been a hit with the kids overall. The dance mat is designed to be fun and engaging, with a light-up feature and music games that appeal to children. The upgraded flowing light control system adds an exciting visual element, and the wireless Bluetooth capability is a nice touch for modern connectivity. However, there are a couple of issues. My 5-year-old finds it difficult to reach all the markers on the mat, which can make it challenging for younger children to fully enjoy the experience. Additionally, while the Bluetooth self-programming feature is a great idea, it can be a bit complicated, especially given the simplicity of the product overall.Despite these challenges, the dance mat has a lot of potential. It offers a fun way for kids to be active and enjoy music, and with a bit of refinement, it could be even better.
Amazing
Very kid friendly and easy to figure out and my son loves it
Review by an adult (not the target market)
Even as an adult, I think this is pretty fun although only for short periods of time. Back in the day, we had the old Dance Dance Revolution dance mats for the Play Station. This is similar but made of an even more crinkly material. It slides over our hard floors a bit, but not so much that I think it would make someone fall unless they were really jumping around. It tends to think I make a lot of mistakes if I try putting my entire foot down, but it works properly when I mostly stand in the middle and just tap the arrows with the ball of a foot and my toes. The lights appear on both the panel at the head of the mat and the arrows themselves on the mat. The arrows are more brightly lit than I had feared they would be, but not nearly so brilliant as the retouched product images make them seem. So far, it's holding up perfectly under the weight of an adult even though it doesn't like the size of my large feet. I even spent a while jumping on it to see if I could hit two arrows at once and it didn't cause any obvious harm to the mat. It's pretty much exactly what I had expected it to be like, but it would be nice if it had some other engaging activities along with what's really the two modes that you can play with. Even so, it passes my fun test and it was also tested and approved by someone who was more age appropriate in our family. It's eventually destined to be a Christmas gift for an 8-year old relative.Dance modeTap whichever arrow or arrows are lit. Medium and hard modes go faster. Sometimes more than one arrow will light up. It's perfectly fine to tap them one at a time instead of trying to jump and hit two (or more) at once. Mistakes don't give you any negative feedback and just advance the lit arrows to the next step. You only get points for correctly tapped arrows, though.Memory modeIn the first round, a single arrow lights up. After that goes dark, tap on it. Next round, the same arrow lights up followed by a second. Again, wait until they're all dark and then tap them out in order. It just keeps adding arrows each round.Bluetooth modeIt's not actually a different activity. You can just play your own music while tapping the arrows.
