Care needed when using; the cotton bud isn't well wound or well secured to the bamboo stem. It's very easy to dislodge the bud from the stem. In most cases this isn't a problem, but when cleaning ears or other small locations it would be very easy to lose the bud. We required a pair of forceps, a magnifier, and a torch, to retrieve a dislodged "lost" bud; it could easily have been dangerous.
