5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, creamy keyboard
The media could not be loaded. From someone who’s new to mechanical keyboards and doesn’t know much, this is wonderful! In comparison to my old keyboard, this is definitely quiet and creamy! Obsessed with the sound and feel! Everything is working perfectly. It’s budget-friendly and worthwhile!
5.0 out of 5 stars Simply amazing
This keyboard is the BEST one I have ever bought. Easy to type on (although does take a bit of getting used to) - the colour options are great too. The only thing is that it is a US layout but not a major problem. A sturdy keyboard that is quite heavy too which I think is a bonus. The sound when you type is delightful and really pleasing, not too loud but not too quiet either. Quick delivery as well. You won't be disappointed if you buy this keyboard!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Silky smooth amazing for typing.
This is my second mechinial keyboard and wow was i surprised with how smooth it was. Typing feels amazing also the sound is relatively quiet. Overall the quality is excellent for the price. I will definitely be looking at more of AULA's products.
5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest keyboard of all time
I ran out of words trying to describe how good this keyboard is. It is absolutely perfect in every way. I’m in love with it. It feels expensive, it types smoothly everything about it is perfect
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection on a budget
You’re getting an unbelievable deal here for the price. The switches sound comparable to much more expensive custom mechanical keyboard builds, and the quality is very high in all aspects. The ability to pair 3 Bluetooth devices at once is a very nice surprise. It’s got a lot of weight to it, in a good way, and looks fantastic, especially with the RGB lighting.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal and sounds devine

3.0 out of 5 stars If buying from the UK take note!
The build quality is very good, lovely "thocky" sound. Keys are very sensitive and this took a while getting used to. BUT there is a big problem for anyone in the UK... This keyboard and all of the manufacturers keyboards are in the US layout, meaning that although you can map it correctly in windows, the @ " £ and feww other keys are not in the right place. For example to get the @ symbol, you have to hit the " symbol and visa versa. Given that the keys are swappable (i believe) it would have been nice if tha manufacturer had provided the handful of keys needed to swap out for UK layout. When i contacted them they basically said it is whatg it is and there are not plans to make UK keyboards... Poor attitude really and a shame as the product is really nice. Your call as to whether this is a dealbreaker for you or not.
Jaw-droppingly excellent
This keyboard is a dream to use, and my only true regret about it is that I didn't get one sooner. This keyboard looks, feels, and sounds unreal so I'll go over a few more of my favorite points in detail.* The greywood switches are fantastic. The action is smooth and the actuation force is incredibly low. Having already come from an AP2 with linear red switches I bottomed them out assuming they'd feel the same, but I'm loving them being an even easier press than that. They sound fantastic when you bottom out on this board as well, it's hard to really appreciate from sample videos. They are indeed very easy to hotswap too as I've already accidentally popped them out while pulling keycaps - they're very easy to remove and set, and I look forward to trying other switch types in the future.* The key lighting is bright and comes through well on the default switches. The vertical lightbar is a beautiful little addition with a few colorful presets and pops out in a great way.* The software is very light and capable. It's very familiar-looking coming from using stuff like Obinskit for the Anne Pro 2, but it's a little rougher around the edges as you do modifications to your lighting and bindings on a low-resolution mockup of the board. It's hard to see what has been set when doing so, but it gets things done.* The keycaps themselves are beautiful and feel solid but my only con is that they have no shine-through at all. In a dark room you'll be pressed to see your keys and having the board backlight on actually only makes that harder. For this, I transplanted my AP2 alphanumeric keys with shine-through letters onto the F99 and it works like a charm. I like the rest of the board so much and it can be rectified easily so I won't even knock a star for it, but be aware of this if you're used to your other boards having more visible letters. Not having that certainly came as a surprise to me.After all, I heartily recommend the F99 for making it feel exciting again to have a keyboard hobby again!
Wow - incredible value for the price
I've been looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard with linear switches and a nice form factor, but it's been hard to pull the trigger given high prices, bewildering array of caps / switches / frames / etc., and concerns on noise levels. At $70 with coupon, figured I'd take a flyer on this Aula F99 (which I saw on TikTok - usually not a sign of high quality) and see if it was any good. Boy howdy it's been a revelation.Really nice heavy unit, premium feeling keys, an incredibly satisfying thwock sound but without loud reverb, and super smooth and accurate key press recognition. Also the flexibility of 3 connection styles (Bluetooth up to 3 devices, 2.4GHz, and wired) which is great. RGBs are fine, nothing fancy but pleasant hues and adjustability.Overall, highly recommended.
A delight to the senses.
Literally I cannot think of a keyboard I would like more than this one. I really cannot describe the heavenly sound that is permeating my brain with every sprint across the keyboard. It almost made me sad not to be at work right now, because I just want to hear that sweet, sweet keyboard tippy tappin’.Here I sit with a keyboard, that was so much better than the old mechanical keyboard I had (cough cough Razer), the sound is better, the backlighting is superior, it has 3 different ways to connect? Oh, you don’t want to cosplay Sisyphus with that stupid USB tango you do whenever you try to plug in? You plug it in only to find you’re plugging it in the wrong way, only to find again that you were plugging it in right the first time. I will never waste my precious life on that futile struggle again. New keyboard has Bluetooth connectivity. The color way is so pleasant too, it is a very soft pretty blue, with a very light purple and white. It is like soft candy floss, I’m into it.Ok, I guess that’s all I am going to type for now, but know my heart longs for this keyboard whenever we are apart. I hope it doesn’t annoy people in my office, because my days spent doing menial tasks with this keyboard will be one of my greatest joys.Image writing a lengthy & scathing email to NICOLE on the Aula F99 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, Tri-mode,BT5.0/2.4GHz/USB-C Hot Swappable Custom Keyboard, Pre-Lubed Linear Switches, Gasket Structure, RGB Backlit Gaming Keyboard for PC/Tablet/Xbxox, PS4/PS5 (Bolo’s Choice)The darkest of my days are behind me.In front of me, a radiant new dawn.
High quality
4 stars only because it took forever to arrive. I ordered this 2 full weeks ago with prime. Item wasn't shipped until the day before it was supposed to arrive. But! This keyboard is a dream. And I am completely happy with the quality, sound, feel, connection options and color!
Pleasure to type
This is my initial return to mechanical keyboards and was purchased impulsively based on Bolo's recommendation.I don't have comparisons to make, but I truly enjoy the sound and feel of this keyboard. I have actively been searching for ways and reasons to type more (this review for example).Of note, and significant for me as the use is often in dark room, the RGB backlighting does not shine through the keycaps - it actually makes it harder to determine the key you are looking for. Once my hands are back on the home row, I am able to find what I need, but I was really hoping a keyboard with backlighting would make the occasional unexpected keypress more convenient. Personally I ordered a set of shine through keycaps, and plan to replace specific keys for convenience.I am currently predominantly using this as my home device for a television connected Mac mini, and as such am unable to utilize the customization software (not compatible with Mac). This hasn't been an issue with functionality, but I am enjoying this experience so much, I have already been using it connected to my work laptop and am considering switching this to my full time work keyboard as the typing experience is so much better than that of my already great Thinkpad keyboard (I would actually use a keyboard more for work: than I would in my living room). The case is obviously a plastic (ABS, PTB?) but doesn't feel cheap. There is significant weight to the unit; not so much to be uncomfortable in my lap, but noticeable when picking up with one hand (especially compared to the flimsy units was used to -i.e. Logitech, apple. arteck). I love the sound and feel of the switches and keycaps; it only makes me want to explore what other types may offer, and with the hot swappable capabilities I could do so.No notes on battery life yet. Still on first charge with minimal backlighting usage, but the unit does come with appropriate cable if you needed to connect physically. There may be, and probably are better keyboards, or a different keyboard better suited to your needs, but I am pleased with this unit and would recommend. I would normally have shopped around more to compare features and prices, but I didn't and am not disappointed.(The 10-key number pad is huge plus for me, especially when connected for work activities)
