I have to admit it, when I first started using this face oil, I wasn't that impressed with it. It seemed to take a long time to sink into the skin, and felt quite oily. Having persevered for the last month, all I can say is I'm glad I did. This oil is very effective at making my skin look really healthy, and leaves my skin feeling as smooth as silk.It tells you on the bottle to apply a few drops of this oil daily to clean skin, and gently massage into your face and neck until fully absorbed. When I first started using it, the reason it appeared oily is that I hadn’t massaged it in for long enough. Once I started massaging it for longer, that's when I started to notice the benefits of how good this product is. I now find it fully sinks into my skin after around a minute or two, but only if I keep massaging it into my skin for that length of time. It’s not the sort of product you can just apply, then leave. The massage itself is great for the skin anyway, boosting circulation, and a very good excuse for some self-pampering relaxation time. After spending longer on the massage, I no longer find this face oil greasy, oily, shiny or sticky. It doesn’t leave any residue behind either. It just leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth and comfortable, with a sheer matt healthy-looking luminescent sheen.This product is formulated with very few ingredients, and is very natural and gentle to use, even if you have sensitive skin. It doesn’t really have any detectable fragrance. I would say it's reasonably priced, especially if you add it to your Bolo Subscribe and Save list. You don't need to use very much each time, so the bottle should last for quite a few months. It has a 12-month shelf life after you've opened the bottle. I like the fact that it comes in glass rather than plastic, and it even has a glass dropper inside the bottle, which makes it very easy to dispense just one or two drops. I like it enough to buy it again, so this one is a thumbs up from me.

I find that this face oil is easy to apply and feels very gentle on my skin. It comes with a dropper to control the usage which is very handy, and I only need about 4-5 drops at most to get a nice coverage on my face.It absorbs into my skin nicely without leaving any bad residue and I also appreciate that the scent is subtle enough so it doesn't feel like I have product left on my face - too many other skincare have this problem lately so I like the subtle feel that this has. It's refreshing.I didn't have any irritation either and it also helped to make me skin feel softer, which came in handy lately since my skin has been feeling drier due to the weather.

The media could not be loaded. This oil is very thin - it's almost like water so it needs to be applied very carefully or it will run all over the skin.There's no discernible scent - because of the name I was expecting it to smell minty, doh! It's mainly coconut and bakuchiol oils. Bakuchiol is retinol alternative and is more suitable for those with sensitive skins - personally I've sometimes found retinol based creams and oils to be a bit strong for me so this should be a much gentler alternative.A little goes a long way - start with a drop or two and see how far that goes, but it does absorb into the skin really quickly and leaves no greasy residue. Good. The ingredient list is reassuringly short and uncomplicated.The blend is cruelty free and Vegan (which is what I expect nowadays) and is made in the UK to strict EU health and safety standards which is always nice to see. The packaging is minimal and looks classy and professional, it would look good anywhere, in fact it looks like it belongs in a high end spa.At £21 for 30ml (as at 29 April 2024) this is a good value price to pay for what looks and feels like a premium product which should last a long time. Pleased to have it, worth considering.

It wasn’t until I received this that I noticed the branding on the bottle describing it as pro-aging oil, which seems to suggest that it supports aging rather than protects against it. Very odd use of language for what is a British brand.The misnomer aside, however, this is a light face oil, which glides on smoothly and absorbs evenly, although taking a while to do so. Once absorbed, it leaves the skin soft with no tacky residue. Only a few drops are required from the pipette to adequately cover face and neck.I like that this is an ethical product, made from all natural ingredients, and that it comes without any unnecessary packaging.Although it’s too soon to comment on its long-term effects, I do prefer this oil to the serums I normally use and would but it again, but I’m still rolling my eyes at its ‘pro-aging’ properties 🙄

I've been using this nightly for a week now, it's the first oil I've tried and I thought it may be greasy. It's not! I use about 4 drops and that is plenty - it absorbs really well and my skin feels lovely after using. There's no real scent to it, and the bottle seems like it will last me ages as I need so little.
