This is a super bright light, far more than most people will need in their garage. I'd say that the pictures show an accurate intended usage as high level lighting in an industrial environment. The chain and clip fitting make it easy to attach, as long as you have a suitable mounting point, though it would have been handy if this had been supplied with the light too. for most home garages or similar workshops I think this is probably overkill and I think you could use a lower wattage alternative quite happily.

This light is large, thin, lightweight, and easy to install. When turned on, the brightness is impressive, illuminating the entire garage with minimal heat. I'm very satisfied with the brightness and hope it lasts a long time.

I have a quite rustic TV room. It is all about function and not so much about aesthetics. The row of spotlights that I have fixed to the ceiling has started to show it's age and the bulb holders are getting brittle and starting to crack so it's time to replace that fitting. This unit seemed a good solution as it is easy fix and should give a bright light. I don't use the light very often but when I do I want it to be bright.The only thing that I am unsure about is the arrangement where the wire goes into the ceiling. My present set up has a covering rose but I couldn't find any details on this listing. I would just have to wait and see.As things turned out there was no provision whatsoever for fixing the light to the ceiling other than the chain and carabiner so you must provide your own fixing and then, if you wish, some way to make the whole junction of chain , support method and wire look tidy. Of course this may be used in a totally industrial setting and such considerations are not so important.I decided to go with a cable clip that I had lying around and fixed that to my existing rose with a decent gauge nut and bolt and then clipped the carabiner to it. The rose went back up from whence it came and all was done.I said that I wanted a bright light and that's exactly what I got. It is a very cool light and is quite stark. That is ideal for my situation but may not suit rooms where chilling out is the order of the day. However this unit is billed as being for industrial and not domestic use and I think it fits it's intended purpose very well.Value wise £29.99 seems to be a fair deal for what should be a durable lighting unit that is very bright but without gobbling up too many units of electricity.

This light is bright and produces a cool white light.It comes with around 50cm cable and a chain to hang it.I would say it is more of a commercial light designed to be used in multiples but I have it in a garage and it's more than sufficient to light it up.Overall a good, bright light.

This 100W LED lamp is predominantly aimed at larger commercial premises such as warehouses and service garages (where multiples would need to be installed), but I picked it up to illuminate a medium sized residential outbuilding, about the dimensions of a double garage but with a high ceiling. For my use it's bright enough and when installed at a height of about 3 meters the 6000K lamp floods the entire space with a reasonably bright, cool white light.It's a nicely made lamp, with a main body constructed of aluminium with fins that dissipate the heat created by the LED diodes, and a clear plastic cover that is shaped and textured to spread the light over a wide angle. It comes with an eye-bolt that screws into the lamp and a chain fitted with karabiners for hanging the light from a suitable ceiling.The lamp is provided with an operation manual that's an A5 sheet of paper printed with mostly non-useful information ('cut off power supply before installation', followed by; 'after correct installation power the light on'), but wiring the light is straight forward for those with general electrical knowledge as it's a simple live, neutral, earth setup. An electrician could wire it up in minutes.It's easy to clean and is dust proof being IP65 rated, so it's water resistant too (not waterproof as I saw it described; don't go blasting the light with a water hose). The energy performance is good for a lamp of this lumen output and it doesn't buzz or flicker as far as I can tell.I'd say it's a good and solid garage style lamp that really brightens up an otherwise dingy space.

Ok, so lets get the bad stuff out of the way. The mounting EYE included in the package had stripped threads so it didn't thread into the mounting hole in the center back of the light. This was a royal pain, but I found a standard 3/8 bolt and a washer which allowed me to use the included chain to mount it anyway.The heat sink fins are short, and the overall metal base (which acts as the heatsink) is not much larger than the lighting area. This equates to the unit heating up substantially! Temperature of the LEDS are directly related to their longevity, so consider that. Finally it comes with pigtails, so you need to provide your own direct wiring, or add a plug onto the end to power it through a receptacle. The wire gauge is quite small, but legally acceptable for the current rating. It just makes for a tricky connection because of the small wire.Ok, for the good news. It does throw light that seems to equate to 140000 lumens as compaared to my many other high bay lights. The colour temperature of 6000K is quite natural looking and colour rendition is very good, (i.e. colours look very natural under this light).Price/performance is good, based on the currrently listed price, it is very competitive with other UFO lights of same power level, or compared to 150 or 200 Watt versions (scaling the price accordingly to compare apples to apples)..If the cheap eye bolt worked, and the fins were a bit more substantial this would get 5 starts, but it falls a bit short.P.S. The IP 65 rating seems appropriate, the bottom is protected well, and outdoor use is fine, but I would NOT be submersing this!

Ich habe die Lampe als Baustellenbeleuchtung eingesetzt.Sie ist wirklich hell, die 12500Lumen kann ich zwar nicht nachmessen, aber sie beeindruckt schon.Die Farbwiedergabe ist nicht so dolle, das ist in meinem Fall aber nebensächlich.Als Werkstattbeleuchtung würde ich sie nur einsetzen, wenn ich mehrere hätte, da sie sonst zu harte Kontraste produziert. Auf meinem Bau habe ich zusätzlich rundum noch LED Wannenleuchten. Dadurch ist die Ausleuchtung schöner und gleichmäßiger.Grüße,Gerhard

Ce luminaire suspendu est livré avec une chaîne de quelques maillons pour un accrochage en plafond. Le fil est assez court aussi, ça ne sera pas compatible d'origine avec une suspension de grande longueur.Le carter de la lampe est en metal moulé avec des stries de radiateur pour une meilleure dissipation thermique.La face avant est fermée par une vitre plastique qui protège le réseau de leds et assure l'étanchéité.Le finition est très bonne, rien a redire.Une fois branché, le luminaire produit un faisceau très généreux, à la lumière teinte blanc froid, ce qui est plus adapté à un environnement type atelier ou garage.En tout cas, c'est puissant et efficace !
