4.0 out of 5 stars Heavyweight carpet tiles
These are heavyweight carpet tiles which can be used in place of a rug, and are a similar weight. They were easy to lay on our laminate floor, but I will be getting non slip underlay as I'm not confident they won't move. The pattern I chose works well with the modular nature of carpet tiles, and the whole thing looks bright and stylish.
5.0 out of 5 stars Affordable, Useful & Changeable
I got two cats at home and they absolutely love it. Lean on the carpet All the day and most importantly, i don't need to worry about they scratch it, i can change any piece anytime. Win-win solution for my Flat and my cats!
4.0 out of 5 stars Rough underfoot - use in higher traffic areas. Not comfy bare-footed.
I loved how easy it was to put these together - the underside did a great job of making sure each carpet tile stays in place. However, I couldn’t give this a higher rating because it’s advertised as being for bedrooms - and it feels rough and hard-wearing underfoot - so I wouldn’t every put this in my bedroom. But, the design / colour scheme is a nice almost modern soft neutrals brown/ cream/ beige look - so you can’t tell by looking at it that it is rough barefoot.I would use these in a higher traffic area that gets cold underfoot - maybe in laundry room or if you have messy kids - in a play area for them.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality Carpet Tiles - Join Noticable
You get 12 of these carpet tiles, each tile is 40x40cm. The tiles are great quality, well made with a tight pile. The rear of the tie is rubber backed to assist with grip. The light camel colour is very nice, adding brightness to my lounge. What i really liked about these tiles is that you can use as few or as many as you want, and are not limited by the size of traditional rugs. The tiles are comfortable to walk/stand on, and after a few days of being layed i would consider them to be hard wearing. We have two dogs at home who are always in and out of the garden, so far i have been able to spot clean the tiles without issue. There is only one downside to this product and that is it is almost impossible to hide the joins in the tiles - no matter how hard i pushed them together the tile join was still very visible - i also found that on my laminate flooring the tiles still moved slightly, mainly the outer edge ones.If you have small children or pets then this may be a simple and elegant solution to a standard rug, they are easy to remove/clean where required - something you can not do with a huge traditional rug. You can also have a bespoke design with these tiles which may suit some peoples homes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really nice 'rug' concept, made using rug tiles
I received this item for free as part of the Bolo Vine programme, in return for a frank and honest review of the product. My review will be based on my personal experience of this product.TL/DR - Clever concept for 'rugs', Nice modern designs, Easy to install, Can be merged with other packs to make larger 'rugs'This is a review of 'Antifir Rugs Living Room, Outdoor Rug for Patios, Non-Slip Carpet Tiles & Stain Resistant Large Rug, Rugs Living Room for Bedroom, Hallway, Kitchen, 12PCS, 120 x160 cm, Thickness 9mm' and the comments only apply to this item.Item colour: Light brown, beige & whiteIs the item colour true to the product image: Not quite, the real tiles are slightly darker than the product imagesStyle Ordered: Roman holiday ordered / Roman holiday receivedItem Size: Length = 40cm x Width = 40cmQuantity received: 12 in packDoes the product work/perform as advertised: YesIs the product value for money: YesWould I recommend this product: YesSo this is basically just glorified carpet tiles, right? Well yes and no. It's a clever concept for creating a rug and the rug can be whatever size you want it to be. You will receive 12 tiles in a pack and you could do 2 tiles to make a small rectangular rug, 3 to make a longer rectangular rug, 4 to make a square rug and so on. Or as in my case, an odd shaped rug owing to the shape of the room that the tiles were laid in. You could if you wanted buy multiple boxes and merge the tiles together and make a really huge rug - which would ultimately be cheaper than buying an actual proper rug.I chose the "Roman holiday" style to test, and I really do like the way that the rug came out. The colour scheme of "Roman holiday" complimented the room that I laid the rug down in. Assembling the rug is really simple, if you have ever laid carpet tiles before you will know exactly what to do. On the reverse of each tile is a number of arrows >>> pointing in one direction - now it really doesn't matter which direction the arrows are pointing on the first laid tile, just as long as you follow that direction on subsequent tiles (NOTE! Some of the rug styles may require the first tile to be laid in a specific direction, but with my chosen style, it wasn't a requirement).I had all the tiles down in around 10 minutes and I was extremely pleased with the end result. There are some really nice rug patterns available on this brand and I really wouldn't mind trying some more in other rooms at some point.Just in case you think that the selling price is expensive, if you went into a certain DIY warehouse (the orange coloured one) and bought a dozen carpet tiles, they would cost on par with one box of these, so these are actually extremely good value for money!
4.0 out of 5 stars Looks great although you can still see the joint lines.
I ordered the beige colour and you receive 12 tiles which in total cover an area of 120 x 160 cm.We’re planning to use the tiles in the conservatory and from the feel of the tiles they feel very robust and well suited to an area like a conservatory rather then inside the house where you’d prefer a softer feel on your feet.Assembling it was straightforward and the tiles look great although you can notice the joint lines. The bottom is non slip and with the tile design I like the ease of cleaning the tiles if anything is accidentally spilled.Overall very pleased and reasonably priced.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect
Nice and thickWell madeLovely colours and designEasy to keep cleanNice heavy tilesIdeal for all around the home or gardenHighly recommends5 Stars
4.0 out of 5 stars Stay put and don't slide around.
These tiles seem very robust and are quite heavy - I intend to use them either for a patio or balcony area so it will be useful to be able to take them up should the weather require it. As described they do stay put (as a result of the combination of the non slip backing and their self weight). I am also hopeful that the stain resistance will work and that any dirt can be washed off as described.
