    It goes into sleep mode if left. Neat laptop that works beautifully. Like all the reused plastic etc. It made me feel that I was helping to reuse throw away materials.

    I have always used ACER a brand that I usually like and feel they provide value for money. On the whole when it was price I felt it was good value, but at its price at the time of writing of £699.99 there are better quality laptops out there. Yes, it does a reasonable job of handling everyday jobs but its quality of build I am not convinced about. Putting aside the reversal of the E and R keys which is well documented, the casing fills flimsy and flexs easily. The biggest problem is the power socket and jack which is not the usual size and small. After 6 months of use the jack would not stay in the socket and so charging the laptop was a little hit and miss. In my opinion this is a major flaw. I had to return the laptop and to Bolos credit it replaced the laptop very quickly and with no fuss.UPDATE: I had another one of these laptops bought in July 23 and have just retruned it as the casing is coming away from the screen as it flexes. Returned and getting money back to but a different model/make. Really badly designed laptops

    My first all - ssd computer. Compared with my old hard drive lap top it is blisteringly fast. It has an unusual appearsance, a bit like concrete (I like it!) and feels nice and sturdy. The E and R on the keyboard are both mirrored but they work as normal. someone complained that the power jack is very small and easily comes out. It just needs a firm push then it is rock solid. The display is very sharp and has a fairly wide viewing angle horizontally and vertically. The audio socket is multi purpose when you plug in you are asked what you connected (in the bottom right corner). This is my first foray into windows 11 and I am still exploring. Overall I am pleased.

    Bought this for video streaming ( youtube.com/karaokelondon ) and karaoke hosting. Really very well built and extremely fast starting up. Very happy , and a reasonable price too.

    This was a new laptop for my husband (who was upgrading from an old ThinkPad). Although this is bigger than the old laptop (making it less convenient for traveling), it's made a world of difference because it's so much faster and much more responsive. He's had this laptop for a month now and so far, so good!

    For a laptop costing £450 I would have expected some sort of instructions for setting up. The setting up instructions for this machine were nothing more than a diagram indicating the position of the on/off switch and the power supply socket.Once switched on I was taken through a seemingly never-ending MS set up routine. It would have helped to know how these screens were to be navigated and and options selected were to be accepted.By trial and error I found that the TAB key moved the cursor and tapping the touch pad selected my choice. I could go on. I still cannot persuade the beast to recognise my wireless mouse, I have no idea what version of Windows is installed. There is no DVD drive for me to install my software from.I could go on. Perhaps something was missing from my delivery, I think not, simply a total reliance on immediate understanding of the keyboard and OS, whatever that is. Not Happy
