Our aging Hitachi TV was dying slowly, so before it bit the bullet completely I did a bit of research and opted of rthis 42 inch hisense. i got a good deal as an early black Friday item, which was even better. Setting up was a little different than normal, I didn't need to plug the TV aerial into the TV at all. Everything comes through the broadband, but there is an aerial socket if you don't have broadband or if your connection is too slow. The picture is sharp, bright and with great colors. There are various modes, such as cinema, sport, standard, etc, so there should be one that suits your needs. The sound is clearer and crisper than on my old TV, straight from the TV with no sound bar. Freely is their own version of Freeview, and it has everything you'd expect, including live TV and all the usual channels. It also comes with VIDAA channels, which plenty of categorised film channels. The subscription services all are there for you if you are customers of any of the Netflix, Disney, etc. services. I'm very pleased so far, and recommend this TV without hesitation.

This Hisense TV has a nice clear and bright picture that's in HD. It was fairly quick and easy to set up and it has all the apps which we use, from iPlayer through to Prime and AppleTV so we are very happy. The only thing I find a bit awkward is the Live TV through the aerial which is a bit awkward and intuitive to locate and to use. However there is a Favorites list feature and I've added all my usual channels to that list which makes access quicker and easier. A great TV for the price and we love it.

All in all a good television - high spec for the cost. Good clear picture. Came well packaged and very secure. Lots of apps preinstalled and easy to set up. The only thing i have noticed with hisense Tvs (ive had 3), is that the on/off button on the remote sometimes faulters and wont switch on and have to switch on and off at the plug socket to reset. Maybe a common fault? This is why only 4 stars.

Got this during black Friday for use in the bedroom, decently priced from Hisense which expected and quality and contrast of colors once tweaked to my preference in the settings it is ideal for the use case I wanted it for which mainly is to just watch the odd thing while falling asleep.Sound is decent enough but could be slightly better in terms of quality but simple fix in my case was a sound bar that needed some love and well this is now job done.Experienced no issues with any features on the TV at all yes compared to OLEDS and 4K its sub par in that case but really I don't need that for a night time binge watch so I'm delighted.Would recommend great bedroom TV

I did a lot of research to find the best TV I could get for an affordable price without having to settle for a tiny size. I was quite set on the more well known brands but decided to give Hisense a go and I’m so glad I did. The picture and sound quality is great. It’s a lot more slimline than I expected. Easy to use and comes with all of the necessary apps and live TV. I’ve used it as the TV for in our bedroom. The size is ideal - not too big to dominate the room but big enough to clearly see.

I bought this tv to replace a previous Hisense unit that was slightly smaller screen wise. Well impressed with the improvement to the software and the actual overall quality of the whole system. On receiving the unit it came as a bit of a surprise to find it was also setup for Freely. Despite my reservations with the streaming situation after trying to get Sky stream working for 9 months without success I must admit it really works well and as a bonus to me I am glad to introduce it into my home. So if you want a quality system with all the bells and whistles then seriously put this on your list. Kind Regards SteveJ.

Only thing I can fault is the legs that come with it are too far apart so had to buy the stand as shown in the pic, and please be aware there is NO Bluetooth as advertised, there is no option in the menu for this. The TV is very good value for money, easy to set up, sound and picture is great. Still haven’t taken the film off the front of it yet lol
