    This is a poor product on several levels and I will not be trusting it for travel - I have a GL.iNet MUDI that works well with the SIM that I tried in this device.First, it is deceptively described. The mobile data is 4G alone and not 5G. and I was not able to connect to the wifi at 5GHz so I have no idea what "5G" in the description refers to. The technical terms in the description have all been used in ways that, even if they were true, would not be accurate.Second, it didn't work. The SIM slot is easy to use and takse a nano SIM via a sprung socket like you'd expect for a memory card. I booted and the device did indicate that it was connected to 3, but no device I connected on WiFi was able to get internet access and after a while would no longer connect either. For a while I was able to log in to the web UI and could find no settings to change to improve things - the UI just said it was connected.Third, there is absolutely no indication of the manufacturer, technical support or any place to download updated firmware. The device - which says it is running (ancient) Android 6 - is consequently impossible to keep updated against vulnerabilities and hackers.While £35 is very cheap, this is a device that won't work for me and even if it did I would not trust without the ability to keep up to date to avoid being hacked. I cannot recommend it.
