5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Swallow, Sustainably Sourced Omega 3 Capsules – A Reliable Choice for a Balanced Diet
I've been taking these Omega 3 Fish Oil 3000mg capsules for a while now, and I must say, they’ve been quite impressive. The bottle contains 90 softgel capsules, which, for me, means it lasts a solid three months as I take one capsule daily. One of the standout features is how easy the softgel capsules are to swallow. They glide down effortlessly without any unpleasant taste or aftertaste, which can be a common issue with fish oil supplements. It's a relief to know I can take them without any fuss.Since incorporating these into my routine, I feel confident that I'm getting my Omega 3 intake, which is crucial for a balanced diet. While I can’t attribute any dramatic health changes directly to the capsules, knowing I’m supporting my body with EPA and DHA is reassuring. The sustainability aspect is a significant plus for me. Knowing that the fish oil is sourced sustainably in the UK aligns with my values and adds to my overall satisfaction with the product.Overall, this is a big pack size that lasts a good amount of time. The fact that it’s sustainably sourced and produced in the UK is an added bonus. If you’re looking for a reliable Omega 3 supplement, these softgel capsules are definitely worth considering.
3.0 out of 5 stars 3-a-day (a month's supply) and they're big
Not everyone will be able to swallow 1, let alone the 3-a-day recommended of this tub of 90 soft gel omega 3 fish oil capsules. 90 sounds really practical, until you realise it's just a month's worth. They're what I call horse pills, larger than a penny, although the soft gel capsule does make them easier to swallow than harder capsules. That said, there are days I just can't do it.On a positive note, they neither smell not taste like fish – no spoonfuls of cod liver oil here, a distant and unpleasant memory – and fish oils are a traditional remedy, including for joint health. The fish is 'ethically sourced from the oceans off the coast of Peru' but they're 'made in the UK' which is an island surrounded by fish. That just doesn't make sense to me and I'd rather know exactly what sort of fish they include. They also use Halal bovine gelatine, a method which I know will upset some people, including me.3* – The unknown fish have travelled many miles from the coasts of Peru to be turned into fish oil capsules in the UK. They're large, not everyone will swallow them, I struggle on some days so can't take them daily as intended and you need 3 a day which is a lot – and means that the 90 capsules in the large pot will only last a month. That said, they have no smell or taste and are full of Omega 3 goodness to support joints
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality
Nice and easy to swallow, high quality, good value for money.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very effctive
I have immediately noticed the positive effects that this oil has had on my hair and skin. It is very good quality and I like that the capsules are gel. However with a serving a free per day I find it to be difficult because the tablets are quite large so I have been taking two a day instead or spreading them out but very quick effects and easy to use.
5.0 out of 5 stars High Levels of EPA UK manufacturer
Omega 3 Supplement with High EPA - A Reliable ChoiceI'm always on the lookout for good quality Omega 3, especially the ones high in EPA as they are the ones better for heart health and cholesterol. The manufacturer says these have 990 EPA per serving, which is fantastic! The capsules are standard soft gel size for Omega 3 and they recommend taking 3 a day.I've just started taking these and there's no fishy burps if you take them with food, which you're supposed to anyway. I've also opened one capsule to actually have a taste and see if it's rancid, and they taste... erm... fishy, but not fishy foul, if you know what I mean. These seem to be the real deal and they are manufactured in the UK, which brings another layer of trust.Overall, this Omega 3 supplement appears to be a reliable option, especially for those seeking a product high in EPA for its potential health benefits.
