    Having read that oregano contains the most anti-oxidants of a large sample of different herbs and that it can improve gut health (of interest as I suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome), I obtained a bottle of 120 capsules of cold-pressed oregano oil by Be Natura. Each capsule has 450 mg of cold-pressed virgin olive oil, the best kind to preserve its nutrients, and 50 mg of oregano oil. The bottle is dark and the contents are protected thus from the action of sunlight. On the side of the bottle label are printed the batch number and the expiry date which, in my case, gave 16 months useful life.Only 10% of the contents of each capsule is oregano oil since it cannot be consumed by itself but needs a carrier oil. The supplement does not contain any "nasties" in the sense of artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.I have not been taking this for long and have not noticed any positive or negative effects. However, its promising action for gut health and the cleaning of the intestine means that I shall continue to take it with the hope of improvement in due course.This supplement is good value as the bottle has 120 capsules which, at one a day, will last 4 months at a reasonable price. 5 stars.

    As far as I can work out, anyway. These contain 50 mg of oregano oil, of which 70% (I assume it means %) is carvacrol. That means 35 mg per capsule. Others contain more than double this. So the 500 mg on the front is very misleading, as most of that is olive oil.They are not vegan, but none of them seem to be. Probably as they're usually made in mediterranean countries, where it's not really a thing..Oregano can be used to fight infections. I will use them to try once again to get rid of my nail fungus on my little toes.     If you're sensitive to weight gain from food you should avoid these, as they're essentially a mouthful of fatty oil every day. I also wish the labelling wasn't misleading people into thinking they're 500mg of pure oregano oil. I also didn't get much benefit from taking them for a month, either.

    I’d never heard about the natural medicinal properties of oregano and so when I saw these I decided to give them a try. They are small size gel covered capsules and very easy to swallow. Do take them with food as suggested, as they will most likely repeat on you.They are supposed to have a great effectiveness on your gut health and immunity, with so many coughs and colds going around these are worth every penny and you receive four months supply, making these less than 1p per capsule, which is great value for the health benefits.I am all for helping to keep my immune system healthy, having had double pneumonia earlier this year, I will try anything to stay well. These are now part of my everyday routine, taken with my breakfast and will continue to use them.I do find the capsules a little on the large size, but the shape and consistency makes them ok to swallow. If you do have trouble swallowing larger pills then they may not suit as they are not able to be divided due to the makeup of them.

    The name is a little misleading likely tricking people into thinking its 500mg of oregano but after some research the 50mg in each capsule is around the amount you would want daily anyway, the olive oil is essentially a healthy filler to go alongside it even if it feels weird that it is 9/10 of it. Certainly not for everyone considering you still get an oregano smell/taste from these which some people may dislike but the apparent benefits like helping the immune system and being anti-inflammatory do make then worth trying, especially since its an otherwise easy to take 1 a day dose with a supply of 120 crammed into a small container. As a side note though I recommend doing your own research as while oregano is believed to have a bunch of effects its apparently not yet FDA assured.

    Tasteless capsules and easy to swallow, these virgin cold pressed capsules are not vegan or vegetarian as the soft gel gelatine capsules contains beef. One capsule a day is recommended which consist of 450mg Cold Pressed Virgin Olive Oil, 50mg Oregano Oil. This is a very low dose. When I researched the dosage it stated: Adults, a general guideline is to take approximately 500 mg to 1000 mg per day.This oil may help fight bacteria, fungi, inflammation, treating respiratory infections like sinusitis or bronchitis, supporting digestive health and relieving symptoms of indigestion or bloating and more. Haven't been taking them that long to notice a difference.
