The nasal aspirator works very well. I really like its quality. It is very comfortable to use. It has 3 speeds, but I think the first or second speed is enough for babies. It cleans everything very well. I just make circular motions to see where the source is, and I can put it at second speed to clean faster. Do not stay in the same place for a long time, make circular movements, after you can come back. If you clean in the same place for a long time, the nasal aspirator causes irritation to the nasal mucosa.

The device is a real god send. Before this device came along, I used to clean my kids nose using the old school method of sucking up the mess using a long soft tube, with a nozzle you place over you baby's nostril and a mouth piece for your end. Now that my kids have their own kids, they laugh at the way I used to do it as thankfully they have clever little devices like this to do it for them instead.I must say it really is a great device as I have used it on my grandchildren myself, and it's definitely better than the old school way of ding things. The whole process is a bit uncomfortable for the baby so on this device they have made the bit that goes into the babies nostril really soft and smooth and a very ergonomic shape it really is as comfortable as it can be. They have also built in some soothing music that plays through a small built in speaker to try and keep the baby as calm as possible. The rechargeable battery on this lasts ages so you don't have to worry about it running out in the middle of your cleaning process.This device automatically, and gently I must add, sucks the boogers (to use their own words) into a cylinder and they have some clever design which prevents the boogers flowing back out, even if you were tilt the bottle all the way around. What I love about this particular product is it's self cleaning feature, and that is the thing that makes getting this particular product a must. You never have to touch any boogers yourself in the whole process. Plus this self cleaning feature also allows you to clean the unit without having to take anything apart. You just dip the nasal end into the water you will be using to clean it and then switch it on and it takes all the mess out through a long soft tube. Just brilliant and very hygienic !

3.0 out of 5 stars A nice small nasal aspirator but didn't work well for us!
I was really looking forward to using this on my 12 week old baby who has recently had a runny nose. Till now we've been using a manual one which requires sucking via a pipe in your mouth. This nasal aspirator is quite a nice size, and has a great cleaning function. It has 3 modes of suction strength and is USB C chargeable. It comes with 2 different sized tips, and a cleaning pipe. Whilst on paper it seems like a great product, it just didn't work well for us. It wasn't able to bring up/suck any snot from my child, and we tried all 3 suction strengths. A real shame. We immediately switched to our tried and tested manual one and it brought up a lot of snot straight away. As it hasn't worked for us I haven't been able to really test the cleaning feature although this is meant to have a very good cleaning feature. It also plays a tune although it doesn't sound so great from the small speaker. Unfortunately based on my experience I cannot recommend, but it is a well built product that seems good on paper. Hopefully it works for you if you decide to give it a go!
