jinsongdafa Porcelain Oval Casserole Baking Dish with Glass Lid (B0D332FQJ5)Very confused as to what this is suitable for.According to the main info, this is a porcelain oval casserole baking dish and one of the display pictures says it is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe but the 'about' then recommends that the dish is not used in any of these.It says microwave safe but then talks about gold plating so I would not expect to have that in the microwave?The 'about' also refers to a gold plated metal base with two holders for tea-light candles - there is nothing like this included in the package.Finally the 'about' says 'To preserve the shine of the gold plating, it is advised not to put the dishes in ovens, microwaves, or induction cookers.'.I will give this dish 2 stars because the pattern on the side looks good and I will probably use this to simply present food that has been cooked in other implements more suited for the task.Very disappointed, especially given the very high cost of this item.

I don't understand this dish aesthetically. The outside design is rose gold. The knob is bright yellow gold.Also, it's only when I came back to check the product images that I saw that the lid was not to be put in the oven. I did wonder when I unwrapped it. It's very nicely cut, but not for the oven.The product listing also states, "The tray features a gold-plated metal base with two holders for tea-light candles." that was not in the box.The base of the dish has a square imprint where usually a brand or washing/use instructions would be imprinted. It's just a blank white box.Personally, I won't be trying this in the oven. It's for sure more of a presentation and serving dish, not a casserole baking dish.
