I only just got these today, but I know I might forget to review them so I'll give my first thoughts now while I remember and hopefully come back to update with more experience.For some context I have auditory processing issues and sensory sensitivity. My aim with these is to be able to reduce background noise enough to avoid sensory overload and to be able to focus on people talking/ listening to the TV etc more easily.I have already used Flare earbuds for a while and don't find they make any noticeable difference to what I'm able to hear, but do find that they make noises a bit less annoying if I start using them before I'm already becoming overwhelmed.I also use noise cancelling headphones (ANC) regularly but find that they can be too muddled for listening to talking etc so aren't always ideal. I also tend to find that even with noise cancelling headphones on I need to listen to music or white noise through them to have significant benefits.And wax ear plugs which are the most comfortable ear plugs I have tried but (as with most earplugs) don't discriminate with what sound they reduce and make everything sound muffled.Onto the Loop Engage earbuds...SOUND:They made a noticeable difference immediately after putting them in. The mute add ons also make a noticeable difference.Without the mutes I would say they are about half as effective. Sounds are reduced and softened/ less irritating. But I can still hear most sounds including air conditioning and the hum of a microwave.With the mutes in all noise from the Aircon unit near me was removed except for a soft fan noise. I'm barely able to hear most background noises, but am still able to comfortably listen to the TV at its normal volume. I can also hear and talk with people.With and without the mutes background noises seem less irritating and easier to ignore.Sounds do feel somewhat muddled, but nowhere near as much as with other earplugs and so far I'm not finding it gets in the way of hearing or understanding speech.FEEL/ SIDE EFFECTS:They do feel like earplugs physically. That will take some getting used to for me and they might not be something I'm able to wear constantly. But they do seem comfortable enough for a long meal out at least.As is to be expected with any ear plugs I am able to hear my own body more. Things like blinking, creaking neck, swallowing and chewing. Again it is a different type of experience, but for me it's definitely better than having really annoying background noises.They come with multiple sizes of earbuds and also two different materials (a hollow silicone type and a foam type). I appreciate that because it gives me some more options. I find the silicone more comfortable (they are also the only ones that come in xs), but it feels like the foam might do a little bit more to muffle/ reduce noise.They are easy to put in and feel secure in my ear. They are noticeable on the inside of my ear, but the ring part doesn't bother me at all. They are also easy to remove.OTHER:The inside of the lid has a QR code to a free lifetime warranty. That was quick and easy to set up.There is a manual underneath the case and earbuds that tells you how to use them and also gives some information about how much they reduce noise.They come with a carry case that feels nice and has a little loop for attaching to keyrings etc.They come with two different coloured mutes. I ordered the "dusk" colour options and have white and black mutes.They are kinda pricey I guess, but they definitely are providing me a unique experience compared to anything else I've tried so far. And the lifetime warranty goes me some confidence that they'll be a good long-term investment. After trying them out for a couple of hours at home I'm really excited to try them out and about. I feel like they could make a big difference to my experience at restaurants, the cinema, on public transport and on hot days where I don't really want to be wearing bulky noise cancelling headphones.I've been considering them for a while and putting it off, especially since my experience with flares wasn't exactly a game changer. I'm glad I did finally decide to try them. I don't expect them to be some miracle fix for my sensory issues and I don't think I'll be able to wear them all the time. But so far it does seem like they will at least make a significant difference and give me an extra tool to help with various situations.

I didn't expect to be able to hear people while having such a drop in background noise. Takes a while to get used to the feeling that you are shouting at your friends while actually not raising your voice at all. Good comfort fit as well

They do the job pretty well and are less offensive than most earplugs. Usually people don't notice when I have them in. I usually have the mute insert in as without the reduction is quite minimal. All in all I'm happy with the purchase. Our kids are loud as F and it sometimes sounds like a constant din. These take the edge off. 4 stars because I think they are Def overpriced at 40 quid.

What I'm not convinced of yet is that they do any filtering. For me it makes everything quiet. We'll see.I wanted to use these as I've started getting anxiety in loud places like noisy restaurants. Hoping they take the edge off a little.

I've only recently accepted just how much noise affects me. We're currently away on holiday with family, it's very loud and full on, but lovely of course. The first two days my anxiety was peak, so I ordered these, delivered today and straight in, I've had such a good day, I feel so much more relaxed. Amazed and this is a pretty good test for them I'd say.

Made a purchase of this model based on its promotional claims. I already have a white pair of standard loops which i use at night time, I purchased these on the basis it cuts out a certain amount of noise whilst still being able to hear clear conversations for everyday use, they don't ! Very disappointed and overly priced for what they are , i shall nt be using them as much as i hoped and only as a back up pair, will be sticking to my FLARE earbuds which use a opened funnel design and are also significantly more comfortable and cheaper ! Cannot recommend .

After giving up on a different brand of earplugs (Calms) because of ill fitting plugs. I did my research and found Loop. At this point it's useful to note that the Loop website helps you choose the right noise reduction that is right for the use you need them for. I wonder if the people who give a bad review maybe just had the wrong type? I personally have auditory issues where in noisy environments like pubs or restaurants I have difficulty understanding what people are saying to me. It's exhausting. I've used my loop earplugs a couple of times now and it's a big difference. Everything is quieter, but it's a lot easier to lock onto a single conversation. They come with different size ear buds and a handy carry case along with mute grommets which quieten sound even more. These are more expensive than some other brands but I'm happy because of their effectiveness
Small, compact and works great!
I purchased these loop earplugs on the suggestion of my physio therapists. Over the years I have bought countless pairs of earplugs only to have them fall out, uncomfortable and I could not sleep in them. I've had 5 concussions and these earplugs have been the only ones that don't fall put, I can sleep in them and it really filters the noise level but I can still make out what people are saying. These ear plugs have been life saving for me!It comes in a small box with different sizes of ear buds to fit your ears and 2 noise controlling fittings. I carry them everywhere i go. I did the quiz on the loop website store to see which ones I needed since I didn't know which to choose from and I'm very happy overall. I'm actually going to purchase another pair just for sleeping to block out more sound. I highly recommend these loop earplugs to everyone!
Very nice!
These block just the right amount of sound, its like putting on sunglasses on a bright day, you can still tell what's around you, it's just less intense. Carrying case is tiny, and very light, so having it on my keychain doesn't seem like it'll be an issue. Plenty of tip sizes to choose from to get a comfortable fit. The only reason I don't wear these all the time is that by the end of my day my ear canal feels a bit moist, but that's hardly the designers fault, I doubt any ear plug is meant to be 24/7

Aún sin el aditamento de mute, la disminución de ruido es bastante buena.Cómodos, prácticos y discretos. Al siguiente día, no queda el aturdimiento auditivo y el tinnitus después de un concierto.

Le ho comprate per usarle al lavoro, perché è un ambiente molto rumoroso, l’acustica dell’ufficio è pessima e in più devo parlare 8h con le persone da dietro un vetro insieme ad altre persone, insomma una combo pessima. All’inizio devo dire non ero molto convinta, per paura di non sentire nulla e peggiorare la situazione. Dopo mille ricerche mi sono convinta e devo dire che la mia resa è decisamente migliorata. È una settimana che le uso e sono top, ti toglie tutti quei rumori in piu che non aiutano a concentrarsi ma comunque ti fanno sentire la persona con cui parli!Unica nota negativa ma non credo si possa fare di meglio, si sente dì piu la propria voce, devo dire che già dopo una settimana mi sono in po più. abituata

Ich arbeite mit Kindern im Grundschulalter. Die Ohrstöpsel dämpfen das Hintergrundgeräusch (Lärm der Kinder) super. Dank dieser Dämpfung ist ein Einzelgespräch mit einem Kind in der Gruppe sehr gut zu führen.
