5.0 out of 5 stars Two heights, very effective
I'm quite short, so I need a foot rest when I'm working at my desk. This is a great option as it's soft and light, with a detachable pad that allows me to adjust the height according to my needs. It has served me well so far
3.0 out of 5 stars Soft and comfortable BUT not firm.
Pros:1- If you’re someone who prefers a softer footrest, this one is a great option. It’s not too firm, which makes working at your desk much more comfortable. The cushioning provides a nice bit of relief during long hours of sitting.Cons:1- Personally, I expected it to be firmer for better support and durability. Over time, I’m worried it might not hold up as well as a firmer option would.2- The size felt a little off for me. It’s on the smaller side, which might not be ideal for everyone. It really depends on your personal preference, but I would have liked it to be a bit larger.3- The shape is designed for a single foot position, which is a bit limiting. A more rounded, "ball-like" shape would have been better for adjusting your feet into different comfortable positions throughout the day.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy large foot rest
This sits under my desk and is perfect for my gaming setup.Took a day to fully inflate!
5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than a hard one if you have a habit of stubbing your toe
I do have an under desk rocking platform to put my feet on but the problem with that has been that I tend to stub my toe on it, rather than carefully put my feet on it. This one neatly solves that problem and while it doesn't offer the theoretical benefit of being able to rock your feet back and forth for a fidgeting type of exercise, you can just fidget with your feet anyway.Overall I much prefer this to the harder ones of any kind. It is very soft and squidgy though it's not firm memory foam like you'd find in a travel pillow. I suspect that might be better, my feet just sink in an inch or two but are still several inches off the ground. If it were firmer it might push your knees up a bit higher, which could be a good or bad thing. If you want to lift your feet, but not stub your toes, I think this will do a decent job of it and it's much taller than a plain memory foam pillow would be, not to mention you can easily adjust the height - albeit by removing a chunk, it's not like there's ten levels of precise height you can achieve. My old one is probably going to the charity shop in the sky.
5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant solution for those that are vertically challenged! LOL
I bought this footrest as I’m quite a small person at 5 feet 3 inches tall, and I find myself resting my feet on the shelf underneath my desk, which is not designed to take my weight. So, when I had the chance to try out this footrest, I jumped at the opportunity. It is adaptable in height; you can either remove parts to make it lower or keep the base layer on to make it higher. I have found that it needs to be at the higher setting for me.It has been really great and gives me a much better position in my chair, just elevating my feet that little bit more. It’s covered in a soft material and can be easily unzipped and washed, which is very handy as things that are used on our feet tend to get very smelly, lol. It’s good quality, and the memory foam is fairly dense. It does take a while to fluff up once you get it out of the packaging, but it soon resumes its maximum size.On the base of the foot pillow, there are also some rubberized silicone dots which help to adhere the pad to the floor to stop it from moving around. This is also a very cool feature. I would recommend this to any short person who needs that little bit of lift in the feet area when working at an office desk. It has made a real difference to me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Well pleased
I'm so happy with this footrest. It fits snugly under my desk and really gives my feet a good cushionThe fabric is really good and it seems really well made. Came packed well too
3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was expecting
This is more like a cushion than it is a footrest. I can only assume in the photo on the listing that the person is not actually putting any weight on their feet as when you do, your foot just sinks into the footrest without giving it any support. I have this footrest on the highest height and it really is no more support than I would get if I had put a soft cushion on the floor. Very disappointing. However, the footrest is well made and looks like it is of a good quality. I suffer with swollen feet of an evening and find it necessary on occasions to have my feet raised a little in bed so this footrest cushion will be suitable for that as it is very soft and comfortable, but I cannot recommend it as a suitable footrest.
4.0 out of 5 stars Soft foot rest
This footrest is two cushions connected by hook and loop fasteners. It is moderately squishy, so not advisable if you're looking for a firm footrest. The height is adjusted by separating the cushions. The non-slip dots work surprisingly well on laminate flooring and I haven't had any problems with the cushion staying in place. The covers are zipper closure and easily cleaned.
