This is a top quality and professional testing kit, the kind of which you'd find at a GPs office. Very good and clear instructions for use (which I was relieved at, as many products of this type are often made purely for medical professionals and you can't understand all the jargon) but nope - this is clear and concise, very easy to use. I won't go into detail as Bolo would not publish it! But rest assured this is an easy to use kit and very well put together.

These are simple easy to use home testing kits for the H. pylori bacteria that can cause stomachs ulcers and other gastrointestinal issues. They’re easy to use. Similar to a Covid test strip but with a small stool sample mixed into the liquid rather than a nose swab.The tests seem to be accurate and offer peace of mind for home monitoring.

This was easy to do - even though I wasn't suspecting a serious health issue, I had stomach cramps at the time and my tummy seems more sensitive in general these days so thought it was worth a try to rule out anything sinister.There are two specimen tubes. two test cassettes and two sets of collecting paper.You can collect your stool over the supplied paper which sticks easily over your toilet cistern (a thoughtful touch, but, of course,not very glamorous, way of getting what you need). This isn't essential, though, whichever way works for you.It's a similar idea to the bowel screening kits you get (when you're over 50) - you get your stool sample, prod it a few times and put it inside the specimen tube and shake.You then add two droplets to the test cassette (which is a plastic piece) and the reading will be ready in 10 minutes. A bit like other tests, don't leave it too long or you may get a false reading.Glad to say, my result was negative and I actually think my stomach cramps were down to stress (long story!). Obviously, if you suspect something serious, get in touch with a GP!

This Aydmed test kit is fairly easy to use. The instruction leaflets double as a sample capture device/sling, when stuck across the bowl. I didn't find this very effective. If you pass any liquid alongside your sample, then this causes the paper to rapidly degrade and the sample to fall into the toilet. If it doesn't do this, then you are left with the sample in contact with your body, which isn't very pleasant. I chose to obtain my sample without using the provided paper sling.Once you have your sample, you unscrew the blue cap of the collection bottle and stab the spiral spike into the sample three times. You then recap the bottle, give it a good shake and wait two minutes. After this, you uncap the other end and break off the tip (requires reasonable hand dexterity) before applying two drips to the test cassette. The design of the sample bottle means that you don't have to come into direct contact with the sample at any point of the testing process.After 15 minutes, you are able to read the test result. This is nice and clear.I like that the test kit comes with a detailed leaflet, including a list of things that may interfere with the accuracy of the test results.
