These pineapple cubes are nice but they are very calorific.They’re very sweet (sugar is the next highest ingredient after pineapple) and there’s almost 800 calories in this 200g tub.It’s something that’s nice to snack on in moderation, especially when you fancy something sweet.

This is a small, 200g pot of dried pineapple cubes. It is similar to candied fruit, chewy and sweet and, to be honest, I don’t get a huge amount of pineapple taste. At getting close to 800 calories per pot, it is also highly calorific and doesn’t feel as healthy a thing to snack on as a result.The pot is supposed to be easily recycled, but I found the lid was difficult to replace and ended up having to decant into an airtight container to preserve the remainder of the contents.Although I like the flavour, even if it doesn’t taste highly of pineapple to me, I doubt I would get it again because of the high calorie count.

Thoroughly enjoyed this diced dry pineapple. It tasted more like i was eating delicious sweeties. Yet being pineapple there is lots goodness there too. Very tasty. Love them.

I really like pineapple but my husband can't stand it - not even the smell so I don't often have pineapple at home. This looked like the answer, I was wrong.There isn't any discernible smell to this product at all - good for my husband! Unfortunately there isn't any discernible taste either - not so good for me.The cubes are chewy like a pastille, and they are reasonably sweet it's just that they don't taste of anything much, and certainly not pineapple. What they are high in is calories - a handful will ramp up your calorie and sugar intake quite considerably. I think of these more as sweets than a healthy fruit snack.They'll be ok in yoghurt or porridge to add a different texture, but don't expect much of a hit of pineapple as it simply isn't there. Shame. The pot and lid are recyclable which is what I expect nowadays, but otherwise the product is a bit meh.At £3.99 for 200g (as at 13 February 2024) I think this is expensive for what it is. I appreciate that pineapple isn't the easiest fruit to process, which adds to the cost as there is a lot of work involved and a lot of waste, but never the less I still think it's on the pricey side.

This is very sweet, and sugar is the second ingredient so I’d say this is candied pineapple rather than simply dried. It’s very tasty, but doesn’t have any of the tartness that I expected.That said, you’re not going to eat it by the handful, it’s going to be as a yoghurt topper, or in scones or such like, so there will be other flavours at play.This is a decent sized tub and will stack in the cupboard nicely.
