Wow! I love this book. It's beautiful. It is also brimming with healing solutions that are easily found and understood for easy usage! BUT it is also so fun, brimming with many insights and bits of history. You will not regret this purchase, even though it is a bit pricey. It is a treasure.

I am so happy I ordered this book! I LOVE how there is such a great overview of these plants and their beautiful medicinal properties and gifts! I appreciate the author's unique perspective as she shares both the Western and Eastern perspectives. It means a lot to feel they can support each other and has really opened doors to new ways of thinking about and using herbs. I am now going deeper with herbs and using them in ways I hadn't before.The photographic images are incredible and I now have an even stronger appreciation for herbs and their amazing properties!!! I have already used the QR code given for each herb for additional info/videos - fantastic!! Well worth the price!!!I am and will be continuing to refer to this book to support me and my loved ones! Each herb is artfully displayed and succinctly chronicled to give you the important information that you need in an instant. No wading through pages and pages to get the answers that you are looking for. The book is also filled with Fun Facts which adds another layer of interest for the reader. Ann provides an excellent Index which makes your quest for knowledge all the more easy and blissful. Truly a work of love and genius!

Great book. Of course, it's a large compendium of many herbs. But, more than that, several things stand out. I like the Eastern/Western approach - it's fascinating to see how each of the different healing systems evaluate each herb, and to see where those evaluations do and don't overlap.And I can't even imagine what it took to come up with "Fun Facts" for a couple of hundred or so herbs, but I really enjoyed them ("Fun Fact - Nettle leaves prevent baldness." NOW you tell me!).Informative and enjoyable. Well done!
