My dog has an arthritic joint which has at times, caused her pain and limping. The vet suggested I try another brand of green lipped mussel supplements, which were extremely expensive but happily, they really worked. I saw a speedy improvement in my dogs mobility and mood. However, the only way I could get my dog to swallow them, was by breaking them in half with a knife as they are rock hard, and squashing them in my hand in grated cheddar cheese, my dog's favourite food. After a while, she caught on, and refused them. I have almost a full box unused and an untreated dog.I am really confident of the benefits of green lipped mussel having used similar before. Only time will tell if these work as well, however, this is the same ingredient only boosted, so I have high expectations.These Puptons tablets are small and feel soft, and smell fishy or meaty perhaps. They are appetising to a dog. I wasn't sure if my fussy eater would take one, so I was relieved and pleased when she appeared to enjoy it, and actually came back to me for more. She's a small dog so just one per day is the correct dosage. For me, this is a game changer. My dog thinks she's being treated and it's easy for me to give her one tablet every day. She won't get bored of them either this way. No more messing about with grated cheese and much healthier for my dog too.The treats come in a large plastic tub, which is recyclable, with a tight fitting lid. No odour escapes, not that the smell is awful, just that it's on my kitchen worktop where it will remind me to give my dog a treat each day. The tub will last me for three months. That's less than £10 per month for a supplement which is going to greatly help my dog. I think that's good value. So far I'm really happy. If she continues to take them and they work, I'll be back in future for more.

I have an arthritic golden retriever who needs all the help he can get so I was happy to try these treats on him. The treats have the distinctive odour that I have come to expect from green lipped mussel products so they smelled right. My doggie lapped them up and would cheerfully have eaten the lot in one sitting so they pass the taste test. They were well tolerated and did not cause any stomach upset.You get a large tub of treats, properly sealed for freshness. Each treat is formed into an attractive bone shape.These treats do have a large 600mg content of green lipped mussel but I think they are fairly expensive compared to competing products. Still, well worth trying.

These have gone down well with my picky pooch.Pros:Flavour: My dog has definitely taken well to these treats and the scent they give off when the bag is opened is a good indicator of a great-tasting treat - the smell is potent! He comes running when the box is opened, giving me a look whenever I walk past and don't open them!Size: The treats are a decent size and width and definitely do feel like a treat and not just a small bit of kibble or typical dog food.Cons:Price/Quantity: A small thing against the positives but for the price, almost £30, I would've hoped to find more treats in the box or a smaller price tag to reflect the amount given. Not a deal-breaker by any account for high-quality products like this but just something that would encourage more sales in my opinion.Overall, happy with the treats and more importantly, so is my pup.

These are ideal for my large elderly rescue dog. Easy to take and seemingly palatable. Rather a strong fishy smell. Disappointed that the GLM was quite well down in the ingredient list - hope the content is sufficient to ease her stiffnesss.
