    Well built, bright light strip, supplied with all you need for installation, along with some extras for future expansion in the form of connecting cables to link up to other lights. This one has the useful addition of a cable with fitted plug and inline switch, in addition to the direct wiring cable, making it especially useful either for temporary use or where there is no lighting circuit available, as it can just be plugged in.Easy to connect up with the prepared ends on the connection cable, only two wires required as the unit is double insulated. They supply direct to the ceiling fixing via clip in connectors, which is what I did, a simple snap fit.Good even light output, ideal for use in a garage or workshop over a bench or other localised use. I have used it to replace lights I had at one end of my workshop area, this light fitting gives a better all-round light. Though only a short fitting, it is deeper than others have seen, something to bear in mind if space is tight, as it is for me, as it above the area where the garage door opens, so needed to allow enough room for that.Connection to other units can be either by the short connector, so the lights end to end, or by the linking cable, so the lights can be arranged a short distance from each other. Good to have the option if required, up to 30 lights can be connected in this way.

    I recently set up an enclosure for my 3D printer with and exhaust system for the fumes from any filaments I use that might have stronger odours than usual.Previously I had a spotlight trained on my printer so I could keep the bed well illuminated and keep an eye on my prints but that wasn't going to work any longer so I set about looking for a new light source.I tried a couple of rechargeable LED lights but they didn't really have a large enough spread and having to keep recharging them didn't appeal, an LED strip light I had from a previous project was promising, it wasn't really bright enough but it fitted well in the enclosure and it was easy to power.As if on cue this one came up on Vine so I ordered it right away.It's construction is nice and solid, nothing feels at all flimsy or likely to let you down.It has simple clean lines with no fancy frills or over engineered features the two pin connectors are straightforward and uncomplicated as are the mounting clips for securing it.The light it produces is good and bright, it's even all around and along the light with no dim spots, a nice clean white light that's ideal for work spaces.At 425mm (a little short of 17") it will fit into areas you couldn't fit a fluorescent fitting with a similar output. I mounted it vertically in the front left corner of my 3D printer enclosure, it lights up the entire enclosure and gives me a perfect view of what's going on at the printer head, better in fact than the lamp I'd used previously.Well worth the current price of £20.99 for the 1.4ft version.

    We got this to replace an old florescent tube light in our utility cupboard which after a number of years now just flashes endlessly till it decides to finally come on properly after a few minutes, The unit comes with a few adapters depending how you want to connect it, First cable allows you to plug into to a normal mains socket, second cable for a more permanent connection into a light plate, I used the 2nd option using a couple of wagu connectors to join the cable to the existing wiring if replacing a previous lamp.The 2nd two parts are cables to connect multiple lights together, either directly end-2-end with a small tube adapter or a longer 2nd wire to have a gap between each light. We haven't tried this but if you have a larger area it makes it easier to add more lighting to a single power point.Mounting wise the unit comes with everything you need, there are 2 small clips which the light mounts on along with screws to go into wood (eg door frame as we did) or you can use the wall plugs to easily mount on most/all walls you would find in a house (plasterboard/brick etc).Light wise this is far brighter than the florescent tube we had previously and means we can see again in our utility cupboard again without needing a torch to read the fusebox/meter readings.

    Light weight and made of good quality plastic this led light unit provides a good bright ‘cool white’ even light.It comes complete with a uk 3 pin power lead with inline switch, a second power lead with bare wire ends for wiring into an existing circuit and a male to male 50cm joining lead to link two light units together and a further power joining piece to join two units right up to each other.The light unit has a power socket at each end, one is hidden by an easily removable blanking plug. This enables you to daisy chain multiple light units and or choose which end you connect power.This would make a good under wall unit counter light, or an above mirror bathroom light or a good shed light, as it is rated as IP66 waterproof.There are two small stainless steel quick release brackets for holding the light against a surface included in the fitting kit.Personally this will go in a garden store shed where it should provide ample light at night.

    Great fixture for small spaces. Ideal for the airing cupboard, or that harry potter space under the stairs. Can be powered by a plug socket, preventing the need to have a light switch fitted. Nice and bright, and feels well made. Can also be daisy chained with the included cables.
