I’ve tested this product a couple of times now, and so far it’s been okay except from it has disconnected a couple of times.Not sure whether that’s to do with my device or the headset itself is faulty.I will set up was pretty easy, and the sound quality was good as well as the battery life.Difficult to give a realistic review on this, as I’m not sure whether the disconnection issues are my end or not. If they’re not then this really is a great piece of equipment, and it’s definitely good value for money, however if somebody else purchases and finds out that it does disconnect for them as well then of course it doesn’t matter how good the quality is if it isn’t going to be working all the time when you need it.

Considering this is a low budget intercom it is actually alright. Material quality is pretty good and looks to be resistant. You do need to be careful with the thin wires for speakers and microphone. Inside the box you get the intercom with the detachable battery and a few sticky pads to stick them in place. There is no cleaning products to prepare your helmet.The battery is connected by a jack-like connector. You may find tricky to store the battery within the helmet as it is not 2 in 1 with the outer intercom as it is the case with other models from different brands. If the battery is stored properly there should be no issues of the battery getting disconnected from the intercom.The sound is not the best and also not the worst. It definitely has room from improvement on all sound levels. At the moment you can hear the voices clear enough with not too much distortion or other noises.There are only 4 buttons available on the intercom, 1 x power, 1x forward and backward, and the last one for Bluetooth. Should you need to adjust the volume you are required to use the mobile phone for that.

This motorcycle headset is reasonably easy to set-up and connect. The sound quality is clear. It’s generally comfortable although it does feel quite bulky.

Got this for my husband to use on his off road bike.His review - it was fairly easy to setup and get inside the helmet - fit was decent. The sound quality is ok. A good kit for the money.

Very simple to connect to my phone and now as soon as I switch on it connects.The sound is really clear and battery life impressive so far.This comes with plenty of extra sticky pads and instructions simple enough to follow.Not hugely comfortable with everything inside the helmet but not too bad.You can control a few things such as pausing, skipping tracks, answering/ending calls. I cant see a way of changing the volume however apart from using my phone to do so.Price is very reasonable for the quality.
Works ok, bought a second one and the mesh works
I got this so my sons and I could communicate while we ride our motorcycles. The volume seems to be controlled by the phone still, and the setup took more time than the physical install did. So far these seem to be working pretty well, although we have to spend 5-10 minutes before each ride setting up the pairing, etc. I suppose this process will get quicker with more practice. It would be nice if these could be flashed with an updated firmware with improved voice navigation of the settings.

So I had low expectations, but so far this has exceeded what I thought was possible with a unit this cheap! The installation was easy enough. My helmet didn't even have ear pods, but these were thin enough that I was able to place them in a little gap and they stay put without pinching my ears.Also, the sound quality on my phone calls have been amazing! Very clear and sufficiently loud compared to my more expensive headsets that I have in other helmets. I haven't tried pairing this with another unit so I can't comment on that part, but as a solo unit for making calls and installation-wise, this has been great. And you can't beat the price!
Good small Bluetooth unit for your helmet
This small unit is the perfect hands free module for any helmet. It comes with all the wires and battery pack so that you can be hands free on the road. The sound quality is amazing as far as music goes and the small footprint makes installing a breeze. It’s comfortable to use even with the added battery pack you can stuff it all behind the padding and not know it’s there. I would be careful storing due to the battery being behind your head and inside your helmet. If you are a bit worried I would use the supplied double sided tape and place the pack outside the helmet, again careful when storing your helmet to avoid punctures. The Bluetooth connects immediately to your phone and you can easily skip songs, answer calls and even use the volume from one touch. The only issue I have is when answering calls, even when your music is loud, it lower the volume of the call drastically for no reason. If you have a loud bike and you get a call just know that you will not be able to hear anything until you come to a complete stop. If that can be fixed or updated this would make a perfect match because the audio is so good and not to mention the noise cancelation is superb. I have a helmet that creates a lot of road noise and even when I talk on the phone people still think I’m at a stand still. Besides that this would make the perfect headset. Also it stated that it’ll connect to other headsets as long as they had intercom, but I tried and had no success at all. In addition it randomly changed my language to Spanish and I do not know how it did it. I’ll have to go through the instruction manual and change it.
Easy to use headset, with a couple small caveats.
This headset works well. I like the battery being external from the main unit, making the device more slim.Its easy to install, just like any other helmet headset. The volume is good, and I can hear it through a set of earplugs.I have not got to try paring it with other Freedcom devices, but it does claim to do true intercom mode w/ up to 6 riders. I have no reason to think that that wouldnt function well - seeing as how all the other functions work great.Keep in mind this specific model is meant for 3/4 helmet. It was a "stiff" mic. And the mic is hardwired into the unit. There is no swapping it for a different mic, and it also cannot be removed to simply use as an audio only headset.The other odd issue, which is not a deal breaker - the voice prompts have an Asian accent to them. They can be a bit odd to understand, but they are fully functional.Good headset for the price.
Excited about this intercom system.
Seems to be well-built and easy to use. I'm excited about it to try, although ours will be used for bikes and 4 wheeling, not motorcycles. Does it really matter? No. Same ideas. Easier than yelling. Convenient to have on the head and use, rather a cell phone. Good distances and clear.
