Described as 'flannel' I expected a shirt which will be 100% cotton but this one is not.It is 60% cotton and 40% polyester .It makes the shirt slightly more 'stiff' than proper flannel.Is it bad thing? Not necessary.It will get softer with wearing I suspect.I think the addition of polyester will make less bobble prone which should probably extend its 'new like' looks.The design is nice - just one front pocket, hidden ropes in the sleeves meaning when you turn them up you can tie them up as well.It's ok but I think there are some sizing issues. While the shirt is slightly too big for me (belly area loose , sleeves too long and neck too big as well which I don't mind, flannels supposed to be like that), I find it interesting that sleeves in the upper arm area are slightly on a tighter side. I think they should be looser, for my liking at least.

This nice, checked flannel shirt is a good choice as we approach autumn. It is made from a mix of cotton and polyester and is medium-weight. The brushed material feels warm and cosy.I like the classic shirt style; it has a back yolk, a single box pleat, and a left front breast pocket. The long sleeves can be turned up to ¾ length, but the button used for this has been placed too high up the sleeve, making it uncomfortable. I have resolved this by moving the button, which is something to bear in mind.The measurements on the size chart made little sense. I’m size 12/14, 38DD and can be an M or L, depending on the style. The bust and waist measurements seem very large, so I ordered M, which fits well. I hope this information gets you closer to ordering the correct size.

The soft flannel like material on this shirt is so comforting. I could touch it all day long, and it feels wonderful against the skin. The style is your standard shirt design. With the addition of a button further up the sleeve to allow for them to be rolled up.The finished is good. I couldn't find any of my pet hates, stray threads. The material isn't too thick, certainly not deep snow, middle of winter shirt. This is the right thickness to wear under a jumper or jacket and not feel restricted. The fit is spot on, and the colours are bold, and remain so after washing.A versatile shirt, at a good price (Twenty one pound) it's easy to recommend.

This is a basic style button down shirt with a breast pocket, buttons up to the collar and regular cuffs. There is an additional button halfway up the upper arm to allow you to fold the sleeves up and fasten them.It says it’s 60% cotton and 40% polyester and that feels about right. It’s soft and comfy. It’s not too thick, so easy to layer over a t-shirt or under a jumper or gilet.I chose a ‘Small’ to fit a UK 8-10 and I’d say it’s spot on - I’d not have wanted it any baggier nor tighter.The black and white is, I think the most versatile, as it can go with pretty much any colour bottoms, jackets and accessories and I’ll be able to wear it both casually and for work.
