I ordered a size 8 uk wide and brown colour fitted good, easy to wear and take off, these shoes is really lightweight and comfortable to walk, the width is really good, fitted comfortably for toe area, the velcro strap works smooth and holds really well, the quality is good, simple style, the current price is £40.79 which is reasonable.

Great fit

I am a paraplegic from the waist down and a diabetic, so my feet swell throughout the day. I also have naturally wide feet. These Fitville shoes fit so well and don't cause red pressure spots on the sides of my feet the way my standard width shoes did. I cannot vouch for there durability when walking, as I am not ambulatory. I wish they were real leather, but, at this price point, that's not a reality. I am very happy with them. The only thing that would make me happier is if they made an ankle height cowboy boot. Are you listening Fitville?

Heres honesty about fit...

Im not diabetic. Im just sick of tight fitting shoes with no ventilation. The length is 100% true to size. The width is great in toe area and arch if you need extra space. The heel area is wider than normal, even for a wide sized shoe. Its a diabetic shoe! Its supposed to be. I like the extra space. It allows air flow, doesnt dig into your ankles in a break in period. And the velcro enclosure prevents the extra width to cause issues with slippage. Ill update this review over time. Im a kitchen guy, not a marathon runner, even if it feels that way. I average about 3 months with shoes because my feet sweat at work, and theres exposure to water oil and orher spills. Im looking forward to giving these a good run for the money. Theyre very comfy for this price range, and look really good.

Pretty good shoes?

They appear to be good shoes, I spent a day in them before they started to break in and feel more comfortable on the feet. The shoes seemed like a good quality for the price. They were flat and on the foot, my ankles felt straight and supported. It felt very easy to slide my feet into the shoes, with the large opening. Mostly easy to use hook and look closure. Two issues I have: (Maybe FitVille will see this.)1) When you're disabled and have limited flexibility, reaching the *outside* of your feet to adjust the hook and loop closure is much much harder than reaching the inside of your feet. Put the closure on the inside (instep side) of your feet for disabled people to more easily put on and take off the shoes. (Update: I have since found other FitVille brand shoes with inside foot closures).2) The top of the foot/ankle opening is too hard, sharp, edgy? Perhaps this will change with wearing over time but I found that the top edge of the shoe/foot opening was digging into the front of my ankle in a rather uncomfortable way unless I loosened the shoe. A softer edge would be much more comfortable.

Very comfortable

These are not formal shoes to wear to your next movie premier, but for quick outings, or airport security, these are perfect because the velcro. I don't think there is any leather on these, but they do not have that plastic smell some shoes are notorious for. I will not worry about these getting wet, and the extra width makes them very comfortable for my wide and tall feet.

Good Diabetic Shoes

J.H. · 28 September 2024

I have had type 2 diabetes for over 25 years and have some neuropathy in my feet. I work to take care of my feet because I have known several diabetics that have had feet or legs amputated from infections in their feet that progressed badly. These shoes look good and the white soles are in style. I am no longer good at tying shoe laces, so the velcro closure is welcome. These shoes are easy to put on. They open wide, so my foot slips in easily. The velcro closes smoothly and holds well. I have wide feet and these shoes have good room for my toes. They are comfortable and I have worn them for a day with some walking. They have padding around the top that feels good and does not rub hard against my skin. They appear to be made from all man-made materials. They are made in China.
