The media could not be loaded. Used a few mini 3W speakers in my time (from known brands) but this one has become a personal fav with a second ordered to make use of the TWS (True Wireless Stereo) functionality where you get true left and right audio channel representation rather than the song being downsampled to mono on a single speaker. Audio itself is punchy, with good level of volume for such a small speaker (3W) and the bass add a nice warmth to the tracks without overshadowing the soundstage. Worked brilliantly with rock/pop or electronic music alike.Design-wise as soon as I turned it on I was getting 90’s tv show Crystal Maze vibes, the LED glow from the base really adds a sense of style. Being magnetic allows it to attach to the back of your iPhone (or any phone with the included adhesive ring) so it can double as a stand, or you can attach to any metal surface to get a wider coverage of sound.Overall a very impressive little speaker, impressive battery life (was using over a week at 30-40 minutes a day in the gym or after work) before needing a recharge, excellent audio and a functional yet stylish design.One thing to keep in mind it that the speakers themselves cannot be attached together during transit as the magnetic polarity works in opposition, perhaps something to work on for a version 2.

It's quite compact, even for one with a light show attached to it and the hexagonal/diamond cut effect does show off the lighting effects quite well.Sound wise, it's a good performance for it's size, it's not very tinny, better than one in a compact radio and gets better with volume, obviously not a stereo device, but can be paired with another such speaker to give that effect and a source that supports it.I got it to pair very easily with the ios phone, no issues and it shares battery information with the system also , which is good because there is no other way to know about the battery life before it announces it's low. I found the life from a fully charged to be around 4 hours, but that was on a low volume, you should expect louder performances to have less life. I did also feel that charging took as long time, more than I really expected and will monitor how it goes.One item I find really useful is the magnetic back, I can fix it to a radiator , or a filing cabinet close to me on low volume, no one can really be disturbed by it and it keeps it tidy off the desk.Not a negative, but I didn't feel the light display to be particularly vibrant- the colours were nice, but in reality they don't synchronise with the music or sound, just rotate the colour underneath a hexagonal light guide- pleasant but not awesome. In summary, nothing not to like and not a bad price- the magnetic effect is the stand-out feature.Update, less than 1 month in, the battery life has dropped to around 3 hours and am also experiencing micro drops in connectivity. It still works fine, but now only use occasionally due to this performance loss.

This is great for the camper van. Connected with ease. The sound is great for some music of an evening and for listening to sport or podcasts. The light adds a little atmosphere on dark nights and you can easily switch between steady or flashing settings. It is a good feature to attach as a stand for your phone but I have used the magnetic sticker for the wall of camper van and that works perfect. Love it.

This surprised me in a couple of ways, one how small and compact it is, ideal to carry around in a pocket or bag, and two the sound quality from such a small speaker. You are obviously not going to get booming bass from something this small and the overall sound is going to be a little bit tinny but it's really not that bad. The volume is controlled by your phone and I did find it jumped in quite large increments and does go quite loud.Being magnetic you can attach it to anything metal like a fridge when cooking, the inside of a car whilst working on it, or to the back of a Magsafe phone, if you do not have a Magsafe phone a self adhesive metal ring is supplied in the box. I already have a ring attached to the back of my Samsung S8+ so I attached it to that and the speaker paired straight away. It looks even funkier when attached to my folded Flip 6 and used as a stand, see attached photographs.In conclusion this is a nice compact portable magnetic speaker that is ideal when travelling. It does not have immersive and overwhelming sound reproduction but that is not expected by me in something this size, but overall to me it's not a bad sounding speaker. One niggle is no carrying pouch or case is supplied which means the plastic can get easily scratched when carried in a bag or pocket.I hope you found this review helpful.

A nice portable and compact speaker. It feels durable to last a good long while and functions as a pretty sturdy phone stand. Took a few minutes to set up and pair with my devices for the first time, but now it automatically detects them after I switch it on.Sound quality is great. Clear highs, warm mids, and fairly balanced bass. There isn’t any distortion when the volume is on full blast (and it goes surprisingly loud for such a small speaker).I also love the magnetic feature. My S24 doesn’t have a built-in magnet, but I do have a case with a Magsafe ring and that seems to do the job just fine. The extra magnetic strip included with the speaker is a nifty plus too.The colour effects look great when music or movies are playing, especially when the lights are out. However I’d say they’re a bit more subtle than the stock images, especially when the speaker's slanted and being used as a phone stand.Very happy with this overall. Great value for £15.99. Would recommend.
