This set of hair care devices from Remington includes a hair dryer with a concentrator and a hair straightener.To be honest I'm not a big fan of purple color, but this tone of purple accompanied with black color looks really royal.The hair dryer offers good flexibility on choosing the speed and temperature. You may always be sure to find perfect setting depending on your hair type.The hair straightener could also be used as a hair curler. It warms up really quick and ready for action in no time.My wife has used the hair curler for a few times and she has mentioned that, it helps to create good-looking and stylish hair waves, which are able to hold the shape for very long time.

If there was one thing that had me curious was how this set compared to the older and separate things from Remington as with a quick glance it seemed as though getting a hair dryer and straightener separate would actually be cheaper, though oddly the singular straightener seemed more complex than this one while this dryer claims to have a decently higher air flow than its similar looking older version.Putting that aside though if you want to dry and straighten your hair quickly these do seem to work quite well and has helped me have more presentable hair quicker after having a shower which certainly makes it a good thing to have for those that usually have to rush things for work or similarly important things. The use of purple highlights in places makes it stand out more than its older plain black counterparts which in turn makes it more giftable. While I will always wonder about the comparison between old and new this otherwise still seems pretty recommendable.

This product is made by Remington which is a well-established brand so the quality should be good, it is in the Essentials range so it is a budget-friendly choice. The hair dryer is a powerful 2000w and the straighteners have ceramic heating plates. Still, there are no frills here, no LED temperature display or indicator which I see on other products at a similar price point. It also comes with only one attachment, no diffuser. The packaging is also basic inside the box dryer and straighteners are packaged in tissue paper. The dyer itself feels lightweight which I suppose is ok in one way bas less strain on the wrist when drying long hair but also points to cheaper materials being used in the construction. The dryer does reach temperature quickly and the straighteners are functional, the price is competitive from a good brand name so 3 stars

This is a great hairdryer and straightener set, perfect for gifting or as a treat for yourself. I particularly like the hairdryer, I’m impressed by how lightweight and powerful it is compared to my previous one which made my arms ache. It’s powerful enough to dry my hair quickly, especially with the detachable concentrator, and my hair is less frizzy afterwards too.The heat and speed settings on the handle are straightforward to use and I like the option to use eco settings to save energy. There’s a cool shot button to press if required when you’ve finished drying your hair and a hanging loop for convenient storage. To maintain the hairdryer the purple grill on the back can be gently pulled off to clean it and easily replaced again.I only use straighteners occasionally, these are like the hairdryer- lightweight and easy to use. They heat up very quickly to a high temperature (215 C) and do a good job of smoothing my wonky bangs in the mornings!The power cord for both products is reasonable - approximately 1.7m. A 2 year guarantee is provided with the option of registering for an extra year. I was pleased to note that no plastic was used in the packaging, inside or out.I’m delighted with this set by the well known brand Remington and can highly recommend it.

This basic kit comes well packaged and would be a lovely gift set for that budding young future beautician in your family.The hairdryer is powerful enough, although I did find the buttons on the inside of the handle a little fiddly to use. It appears to be one slider, but it is in fact two, one side being speed, the other heat and then a small cool blast button at the top. There is a directional nozzle included. I was a particular fan of the weight of this hairdryer as it feels very light in comparison to the hairdryer I had been using.I have dropped a star for a couple of reasons. Whilst I love the hairdryer, the straightening irons have no heat protective mat or cover, they have only an on and off button, so not temperature control and there is no safety button to keep them closed when not in use. For that reason I won’t be using them, or I will have to buy a heatproof mat if I want to use them without risking my furniture or carpet etc.I would also have liked a diffuser included with the hairdryer, but you can likely pick one up cheaply enough, assuming it will fit the nozzle.If this was a hairdryer only, then I’d be happy as it’s very lightweight.

As this comes with both a dryer and straighteners, it really does make a perfect gift for birthdays or Christmas and the brand is a really good well known quality brand so they should also last well. The dryer is fairly lightweight and is really good at drying your hair with adjustable heat and speed settings. Straighteners great for finishing your look as they leave your hair glossy. Easy set to use and I would highly recommend
