    Really liked this. it arrived in classy packaging, and once opened all products are contained within a nice wooden box which really adds to the premium feel.I have used all products barring the beard brush as it is made of boar bristle, so it would be good to have a vegan option in future.- Beard Oil - on point, a nice hint of sandalwood, and very easy to apply thank to the pippete, and not greasy at all.- Beard Balm, again really good, easy to scoop out the amount needed, unlike some other brands which are rock solid. Melts nice and easily and applies well to the beard without leaving any residue.- Nice wooden comb which makes a pleasant change from cheap plastic tat. I use it on both my hair and beard.- Scissors I have only used a few times but they have been sharp enough to be useful unlike some which are almost blunt from day one.Overall a highly recommended bit of kit for grooming and maintaining your beard!

    le savant beard kitI like quite a bit about this premium sandal wood beard kit.from the smooth rounded dark wood 2 tooth set comb to the nice and heavy steel trimming scissors.I heavily enjoy both the sandal wood balm and oil they put in this kit, with an emphasis on the balm. Neither are overwhelming, but give a nice subtle scent, even if you over use them or in my case drop the oily glass bottle. Whilst I enjoyed the bristled comb, I found it a little weak to exfoliate the skin under my beard.And with all this coming in a small wood drawer to keep them in.This is a very good present for anyone with a beard or even first timers to try out beard care.personal thoughts - very expensive for what it is.... After having a quick peek at other similar items, indications are that this is a good deal for all the items put together. It seems this sort of market is all premium only? There is no bottom shelf shampoo and/or conditioner that is for beards only. Even if beard hair is still just hair therefor any shampoo and conditioner should do. This all seems to be a marketing thing like to be a manly man this is what you should use on your MANLY BEARD! therefor premium prices. this is not to say the items dont work or aren't nice made of nice materials and in nice packaging, I still very much enjoyed the pampering qualities and recommend this product. It would make an excellent gift for the man who has it all - including a beard.Hope you found this review helpful.

    My beard feels softer, looks tidier, and even smells better, thanks to this kit. The oil and balm are easy to apply, and a little goes a long way. The sandalwood scent is subtle but pleasant. I've even received compliments on how well-groomed my beard looks now.

    Most disappointing part of this package is the beard brush. Bristles falling out from first use, I thought it might improve as time went on but it doesn’t. The oil, and balm are only average and the comb is large and clumsy, although that’s only a personal preference.. the scissors on first use do the job and the box is handy.. feel like I’ve received an average product for a premium price and would of been better putting together a kit individually
