5.0 out of 5 stars Smooth writing and comfortable to hold
There is a lot to like about these pens, especially if you really enjoy collecting stationary. The pens have a gradient colour scheme, but each one is different which adds some variety, though the gradient change is subtle so isn't in your face.As someone who isn't a fan of loud pen clicking, I love the fact that these are soft clicking so you don't really hear them when you want to use the pen. Furthermore, using the pens is surprisingly enjoyable because they flow really well and the ink dries really quickly. As such, they are great for a variety of uses/settings, from essays to note taking. To top it all off, my personal favourite thing about these pens is the fact that they are smooth and comfortable to hold. I often suffer from sore fingers and hands when using pens for extended periods of time due to how uncomfortable and awkward they are, but these pens have proven to be entirely different. I am sure the shape of them may have something to do with it, but they also feel ''soft'', like soft touch plastic.Overall a great set of pens and would happily recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pens
This review is for a pack of 4 gel pens. They arrived in a plastic bag. There are four pens included. The barrels are gradient pastel colours, and look really nice. The retractor is indeed silent, which will be great for those who get sick of people constantly clicking them in the office! The barcode sticker on each pen is easy to remove and leaves behind no residue. Each pen comes with a protective cover on the nib that needs to be removed before you can write. They write really smoothly. They are fine, thinner than a standard biro. There is in indicator window on the pen, which will show you when your ink has ran out.I have had no problems using these pens. For £1.25 each, they are worth every penny. If you need pens, then these will definitely do the job.
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice pens
These Archic black gel ink pens are very attractive with their ombre design. They come in plastic packaging, which is a shame, but it is at least no bigger than it needs to be. Each pen has a barcode label, but this is easily removed with no sticky reside left behind - always a welcome feature. The pens have a "silent-click" . You can still hear the movement of the top of the pen (though if you are gentle, this is barely audible), but it doesn't make the usual clicking sound. I initially found this a bit disconcerting but I can imagine that there are times when it might come in useful. For example, spies and people who like to write dream journals without disturbing their sleeping partner! The pens come with a silicone tip that needs removing before you start writing. The ink flows fairly smoothly but is just a touch too fine a line for my tastes, as I think it looks a little scratchy. I have very neat handwriting, but it doesn't look as nice with these pens as it does with a standard ballpoint.Overall, these are nice pens and even the full price (£7.99) seems reasonable value.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking pens with deep black ink and good friction feedback
These pens look very nice with a striking pastel fade at the retractable button end.The writing feel is great with a really good level of resistance that allows me to feel the pen against the paper. This works well for me and I prefer it to the smoother feel and lack of resistance offered by other gel ink pens. The ink is also very good. It's a deep black with excellent and even saturation and thickness on the up and down strokes.I like the fact that the pens are retractable rather than requiring a lid to protect the gel tip. I find it easy to lose lids. The retraction mechanism is also very easy to use with a good spring tension.I am very pleased with the pens and will almost certainly buy another set when these pens have run out of ink.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good pens!
These pens offer style and substance. The four pack comes in variety of pastel ombre hues, so they look lovely in a workspace. Plus, they actually write really nicely! The nib allows the gel ink to flow out smoothly and the result is neater than with a normal ballpoint pen. They also offer silent click which is mostly a novelty (do people mind pen clicks?!). These are the pens that I'll be hiding from the rest of my household to keep them safe for my sole use!
5.0 out of 5 stars smooth writers
You get 4 black gel pens in the pack, with pastel coloured barrels. The barrels are pleasant to hold, they feel non-slip and comfortable. As the seller says, the click is almost silent when pushing the nib down. There is a red protector on the nib which needs removing before you can write. The ink comes out immediately and writes smoothly and well, there is no skidding or jarring on the page. There is a little window in the barrel supposedly to show when the ink is running out. They are currently £5.99 for the 4 which is a 25% reduction. I think that price is fair. They are a nice pen put I wouldn't pay more.
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable grip, smooth writing gradient design pens
A pack of 4 pens in pretty pastel gradient colours, one each of 4 different colour designs. All 4 pens write in smooth black ink, so are easy to write with an to produce neat results. They are very comfortable to hold, having a soft-touch but non-slip, quite tactile, outer surface. There's a handy clip for securing them to a notebook or pocket and even a viewing window to show you when the ink is half out. Also, they have the quietest clip up/down mechanism I've ever come across. Each has a sticker with a bar code, but this is easily removed. Very nice pens, would also make a useful gift or stocking filler for a student, or for anyone who enjoys writing: would recommend.
