    Bought this razor to take on holiday - I know we won’t have a reliable power supply in the accommodation so taking several usb blocks that we can charge up at every opportunity, and then run phones, torches, etc from them as needed. Was surprised to find that razors that charge on usb actually exist! Meanwhile I’ve been trying it out at home and I’m very impressed. It arrived fully charged, it has a useful charge indicator which shows that after a quick shave of my legs twice and underarms once the charge has only dropped down to 94% which is very impressive! Does a good close shave too. Couple of gripes - it’s quite hard to remove the head for cleaning and the little light is always on when the razor is in use. I don’t really think the light is necessary and there should be an option to turn it off because it obviously uses extra power. I can’t comment on the time it takes to charge because I haven’t had to as yet. To sum up, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

    Price when reviewed: £ 24.99.This shaver comes with a charging stand, charging cable, a shaver head comb, and a small cleaning brush, all contained in a stylish box that would make a nice present.The shaver can be charged on its stand or by plugging the cable directly into the base of the unit. One end of the cable is a standard USB-A plug, and the other end is a 2-pin plug. On its stand without the charging cable attached it is very unstable and will fall over with the gentlest of touches.It arrived with 95% charge level and quickly reached 100%. During charging it displays the current power level. There is one button on the front of the shaver and a quick press will turn it on or off. A longer press will lock or unlock the shaver which is ideal for travelling or when you don’t want accidental turning on.There is a light on the underside to illuminate your hairs and is a useful feature. There is a small amount of up/down movement in the head to keep the blades at the correct angle when shaving. And a comb that can be clipped onto the head to leave a small amount of growth. I found the comb didn’t always stay on and moved about too much to be of any use.Overall, this is a nice rechargeable shaver, but the comb cannot be used and the shaver and stand combination is top heavy.

    I really liked the display indicating how much charge was left in it and the very useful light. I also really liked the mint green colour - although not important it just makes a nice change from white or pink. I like that it was chargeable by USB too (but don't lose the cable as it's specifically for this unit and I don’t know how easy it would be to replace) although it did arrive fully charged so was able to use immediately. It's so convenient to use and comfortable to hold. It's a nice compact size and does not take up much space. I also like that it is waterproof so can be used in the shower. It is quite loud though.However I did notice that I had to run over areas a couple of times to ensure a close shave (but sometimes I need to do this with a disposable razor) but having not used an electric shaver before I kind of didn't think I would need to do so with one. It didn’t leave any cuts or irritation like a disposable razor sometimes can. I'd agree with another reviewer who said for a young teen it is safer than using a disposable one so that's a good point.All in all, not a bad electric shaver for the price. If you do buy don't forget to check the listing to see if there's a tick box for a discount to save yourself some money.
